A great company that I found the service techs were very warm, friendly, helpful, caring, they went beyond the normal service one would expect. Josh and Rich were so great I will be honored to recommend their service to all....The quality and cost were very much in keeping with a company that puts it's customers first. They walk you through the entire process and were very happy to include the customer in the why, where and how to process in installing your new system. Everything they did was to make things easier for the customer. example: I will never need to climb a ladder to change my filter in the ceiling inside the house. The filter is now in the air handle out in the garage. That's a big thing for a senior to do. Thank you Josh and Rich. Not to mention the original unit sat outside in front of a bedroom window and they moved the new unit to a better and safer area. 5 stars to all...
I am writing to say thank you to Palm Bay Air & Heat! We had our entire AC redone just over a year ago and last week we realized some errors during the original installation were causing several problems with the functioning of the air handler. When I called for a service call, Larry came out and agreed the installation was done improperly and it definitely needed to be fixed. The owner then came out and came up with a plan to rebuild the air handler area, clean the entire unit, build a new filter area, move pipes, etc. at no cost. They confirmed the original installer had been fired and apologized for the installation not being correct the first time. I am so very grateful to Palm Bay Air & Heat for the job they’ve done to correct the errors and ensure they have a happy customer and good workmanship. Thank you to Juan, James, and Conrad for the remarkable professional job they did reinstalling everything and rebuilding the area. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I understand these things happen and am not angry at all. It’s a humbling thing for a company to admit when an error has occurred, take responsibility, and make amends. Palm Bay Air & Heat has gone above and beyond to do this. I will definitely recommend the company to others based on my experience this week and am so appreciative to everyone who worked so hard to keep my family cool for years to come!
I hired them Monday they came out saw the problem, we agreed upon that they’ll replace the inside unit motor and relay, they got the parts, I paid in FULL. But yet they would never come out to my house. I’ve been without AC for 3+ Days. Save yourself some time an read these reviews are REAL and they are not getting better. I asked for a refund let’s see how long till I get that back. They are not professional, they need to honor the time they said they will be there. No show, not even a call saying there running behind or anything. Very unprofessional for a business. Good luck in the future air and heat.
Our home a/c unit was on it's last leg and we knew we were on borrowed time. We have our normal a/c guy that we've used for 15 years, but I wanted to try using Palm Bay Air & Heat as they have a $19 service call and lots of vehicles/techs. Palm Bay Air & Heat tried cleaning our coils for $400, but when they went to reconnect the coils, there was a leak somewhere in the system and they said that it was time to change out both units (inside & outside). Although I didn't expect the $3,200 expense, they improved our air quality, improved the air speed and increased the value of our home. By the way, they applied both the $19 charge and $400 coil cleaning charge toward the replacement of our a/c units. They also had some of the nicest techs and managers review, inspect and re-inspect the work that was done to make sure that it passed inspection, even waiting in their vehicle outside our house for the building inspector for at least 3-4 hours . What a class act! We highly recommend Palm Bay Air & Heat! In addition, they quoted $3,200 for the system, which was $1,000 cheaper than what my neighbor paid for her system (same size units). Boy was she upset when she found out that we paid $1,000 less! I recommended Palm Bay Air & Heat a couple of days ago to a relative who owns a rental property in the area. She's up North for the Summer. They took a credit card over the phone, contacted the tenant directly, went to the rental property twice on the same day (once to inspect around 4pm, then once with the replacement part around 6pm). It's my understanding that there was a thunderstorm during this repair. Amazing same day service during a thunderstorm!! They charged $168 to replace a relay and made both a tenant and rental owner very happy. Truly honest and reliable professionals!
Cannot get a call back. Cannot get any response after at least 40 calls in the last six months. They won’t get their system ready for a final inspection. No one but Lisa Lambert can answer any questions and when you call she is with a customer, out of the office, out to lunch or not available. Talked to the manager who said you can tell me your story as many times as you like but you have to talk to Lisa. If only I had known.
Horrible service. Two techs came out on Friday and took $100 deposit and assured us they will return the next day with parts between 9-11am. They never showed up. When I contacted the office was informed that warehouse closed on weekends and techs will be out on Monday. No one showed up Monday. Tuesday after several calls techs show up and replace parts and assured us the Unit was fixed. Hot Air continues to blow and Unit has same issue. $500 was paid and still not fixed. Horrible service do not allow this company in your homes. Horrible Service. Very unprofessional and unreliable
Poor service from the start. I needed a task completed quickly, and PBA&H said they could. I didn't get a call back the day that I asked about the task, and the next day when I called, I was put on terminal hold. Lisa admitted she plain forgot about the phone. When agreeing to the task, I was asked to wait until Monday for scheduling for the purposes of having availabilities in their schedule for whatever they sold over the weekend. Since it was late on Friday, I agreed to this. On Monday, I was put on the schedule for Wednesday.
When the two employees arrived, from the start there were problems and upsells. The plenum was too small. The attic ladder was in the way. Finally I had to tell him that the only task to be done was move the air handler and route the lines. 5 minutes after that, there was the major problem.
When I arrived at the condenser unit, it was leaking coolant. I noticed something at that moment, but didn't know its significance until later. The system is only 4 years old. They were evacuating the lines to store the coolant in the condenser coil. They did not have their gauges attached. I have another resource who tells me the dryer should have held up fine, even with some rust scale. Of course, not having the gauges attached means the employee didn't know how much pressure was on the system when he blew it out.
Speaking with Carl on the phone, he was incredibly unhelpful. He says they have pictures of the rust, but as my resource notes, presence of rust does not denote critical failure. By not having the gauges attached, the guy wouldn't know that he passed zero pressure on his way to 300 pounds and blowing out the dryer.
Carl was so petulant on the phone, that he wouldn't even confirm he was sending the complaint to the owner. He is willing to hide behind calling the cops rather than deal with his business problems.
Listen to the negative reviews. There's a reason why this company has so many 1 star reviews. I just bought my house and have been having a lot of AC issue. They had a sticker on the air handler, so I went with it. $400 later, my AC is still running terrible. their preventative maintenance is a joke, they check Freon levels and a few other things. I called them back, they now want to charge me another 20 bucks and possibly clean the coils for another $300. I'd rather just clean it myself then to give more of my money to this joke of an HVAC company. GO ELSE WHERE, DO NOT CHOOSE PALM BAY AIR AND HEAT. I suspect the high review's are either paid or their own people.
Not to mention, I had another appointment scheduled with them for last Tuesday, and the never showed up, never called. Clearly they don't care too much about customer satisfaction.
To Palm Bay Air And Heat: Please do not contact me to try to resolve the issue to get a better review, I tried, and you guys failed.

Our new AC unit was installed in a timely manner and at a competitive price. So far we are pleased with it and with Palm Bay Air and Heat.

I do not recommend this company, the owner does not like to take responsibility of the negligence of his employees
