I wanted to share our experience with our AC, as I believe many others here in may have have a similar situation. Our home is just under 1900 square feet and has cathedral ceilings. When we bought our home in 2009, it of course already had an AC system installed by the builder, but it was not the proper size tonnage for our house. In the summer, our AC would never keep up and the house would slowly get warmed throughout the day. We have energy efficient windows and attic foil that helps significantly, but it wasn’t enough. We limped along for years this way because we just got used to it. But with our AC being 19 years old it was on its last leg and we decided to replace it before summer got in full swing.

We are very thankful that Jorge with Cold Space Heating and AC was here to help us. Not only did he solve our problem earlier this year by installing a UV light in our AC unit that eliminated our kid’s health issues, but he walked us through the process of installing a new AC system in our home. The company installed our new unit in under 7 hours, the team was courteous, and the work was professionally installed. Now with the proper size unit for our home, our home stays cool throughout the day. On top of that, I monitor the energy usage of our home as we have solar panels installed, and we are noticing huge energy savings. We did not realize that the older unit was as inefficient as it was and now while the AC is running it uses 35% less power than our 19 year old system. And the system I chose is not a high efficiency system but a minimum 14.3 SEER 2. And the new one is running far less often than the old one. We should have done this sooner as it would have saved us money, and we now have more comfort in our home than we have had at any time.

Professional and clean install with care.

I can’t say enough about these guys! They are friendly, quick to respond, professional, kind, honest, and do great work! Did I mention their prices can’t be beat? The inevitable peak of summer heat knocked out our AC completely and we needed a replacement fast. Jorge not only responded on a holiday, but was here the next day, and had a new (York) handler and compressor ready to be installed the day after! Our AC is running better than it ever did before.
