Needed a new ac unit and inside redone. Called around to get quotes and they had the best price and service warranty. They had 2 techs come to my house that next morning to install the unit. They were on time very polite and efficient. Didn't mind my children asking them questions from time to time and my dogs running around there job site. The two men who installed our new system Michael and Levi both interacted with my children and taught them a few things about the ac unit, got the job done before said time. I would recommend this company to anybody who needs any type of ac repair. Just the way they conduct business and there friendly techs. Thank you.

Patrick was our rep and he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable. We got a couple estimates but for the money we got a better system . Bobby and Anthony were great on the install. Quiet, professional and cleaned up everything after they were done. We were very happy with not only the price, but the level of service. Well exceeded expectations.

Bob Heinmiller did an excellent job from start to finish. The estimator was great to work with and had a wonderful attitude and was funny as well. He stood behind the estimate even though they upgraded one of the parts due to not being able to procure the original part. His crew came in and had to disassemble the unit in order to get it in our attic and had it all up and running before the end of the day. I would highly recommend Bob Heinmiller!!!!

We needed to upgrade our 18 year old system and interviewed a couple of companies. Went with Bob Heinmiller because the salesman (who also has been a technician) understood what issues we were trying to address (both with a/c and dehumidification) and had good recommendations. Price was also very competitive. The installers, Levi and Mike, were fantastic - very competent, professional, clean, seamless installation. (Another plus is that their techs have been with the company for many years which is a good sign) . We had a follow-up issue and they came right out and addressed that as well. In addition, dealing with Joyce and Melanie in the office was very pleasant as they did all the paperwork to ensure the product warranties were taken care of as well as some available rebates.
Very happy with the company and the product and have confidence they will be in business in the event there are any warranty issues over the years.

Adding to this previous post. We now had a brand new unit installed and we could not be more happy with the time frame and service we have received. Its been about 3 weeks since it was put in and its working like a dream. We recommend them for all AC needs.

(older post) We have been using Bob Heinmiller for many years, we also have our unit serviced 2 times a year for basic check up and the occasional wear and tear maintenance for our 10 year old unit. I work in customer service and this company is great!!! yes there are times they don't meet the time frame (busy or jobs go longer than they thought) but they call and show up as soon as they can. Today our tech was Nick he was out today and he was great friendly, personable and knew his stuff about A/C units. Thank you Bob Heinmiller we will be continuing to use you and recommend you.

We have been with Heinmiller for more than 20 years, as has been our son. We have always been very satisfied with their service and with their technicians. They are here when they say they will be. Our technician is Kenny and he is terrific. He does a great job and always cleans up after the job is done. The people in the office are very nice and helpful. We will always keep Heinmiller. It is hard nowadays to find wonderful companies. When you find a gem you had better hang on to it.

Patrick, the estimator, was my first in-person contact and frankly, it was his thoroughness in checking out my dysfunctional AC, knowledge of all things AC, eagerness to explain in detail my options and 5-star follow-through. Also, I didn't expect him to show up the day Michael and Nick did, the installers, but he was there and walked them through all that was to be done. I got two other quotes, but Patrick's quote was considerably lower than another 5-star AC company for the exact Carrier system, including a new smart home thermostat that I LOVE! The installers were super competent, answered my questions happily, cleaned up every little scrap and left me in sheer bliss with a new ice cold system. My two thick-furred dogs and I had been suffering for five days with no air. All three of us send our heartiest thanks to Patrick, Michael and Nick for putting us back into a good mood and letting us sleep again. This is the second time I've used Bob Heinmiller. My experience both times certainly means they'll always get the first call should I need help again. Also, all three men had excellent senses of humor. I, personally, always appreciate that.

I live in a recently purchased home in the Lake Nona area of Orlando, Florida at the address I specified to BBB in filing this complaint.

The house is a 2 story home with central airconditioning units to service both floors of my home. When my wife and I moved into the home built 8 years ago, we noticed the master bedroom located on the ground floor was perennially warmer than the rest of the main floor. The bedroom was on average 3 degrees fahrenheit sometimes more than that at the family and kitchen where we spent most of our time. It was a big problem sleeping at night or during the day because of this.

As I did not know enough of HVAC engineering go fix this problem myself, I engaged the services of this firm to find out what was the cause of the ptoblem and fix it for me.

The firm first sent a technician to my home in January to diagnose the problem and let me know what was needed to fix. After conferring by phone with his supervisor, he
stated it was the lack of airflow going into the bedroom. He said the bedroom ducting should be increased to 8 inches. This would cost $900 I was told. For this visit I was charged over a hundred dollars.

Based on these statements, I had the new ducts installed, not only by the technician with the help of the supervisor himself. When they were done and were asking for payment, I noticed the invoice stated that smaller 7 inch ducting was installed instead. When asked why, the supervisor told me that he was worried that the bigger ducts could cause the bedroom to become colder than the main floor. He assured me that within the week, my problem would be fixed.

I recorded the temperature differential readings from the thermostat during the week. These I emailed to him. It did not help at all.

He sent another technician to see what was going on. Due to this visit, he replaced the bedroom vent registers. All this did nothing to fix the problem.

I want the firm to refund me the money I paid for them to fix my problem. I was told that a lot of improvements to the HVAC airflow in the room had been made. Of course at my expense and none of which resulted in fixing or even alleviating the problem in the least. They refused to issue me a refund saying that many Florida houses suffered the same problem, that my bedroom airflow was now better.

Should not a customer get a refund if a auto repair firm said his car would not start because his electrical system needed to be replaced and putting in a replacement one the car still does not start? The same should be true with this firm.

Postscript: I asked another HVAC firm who seemed to understand what they were doing. They said it was most likely my problem had nothing to do with bedroom airfow at all but that the upstairs airconditioning unit was set to a lower thermostat temperaturing setting. This firm did not even check this possibility AT ALL! I need the refund to hire this firm to fix my problem for me!
