Harbor Air

The service provided by Harbor Air exceeded my expectations. After having our system for 17 years it began to leak water. Unbeknownst to us it was also leaking freon. My air condition company was unavailable due to it being the weekend and advised they would send a tech out on that following Monday. My neighbor, who was aware of the situation, referred a family friend, by the name of Kendall who is the owner of Harbor Air. He provided me with his name and number, but called Kendall in advance of my call. I called Kendall and without hesitation he responded to our home the following morning. Kendall himself came and assessed the situation. He did not immediately try and sell us a new unit, instead he tried to fix the problem. My husband who is very knowledgeable when it comes to air conditions walked thru the process with Kendall and confirmed that we would need a new unit. Kendall provided us with a written estimate of 3 different units. He did not rush us into making a decision. I explained to him that we had an air condition company that we had a maintenance contract with and wanted to check with them to get a quote from them, as well. Kendall was gracious enough to provide us with enough freon, at no cost, to hold us for at least a week or so, giving us time to make a decision, AND he did not charge us a service call. My company was not willing to provide us with a written estimate, only a verbal estimate, and showed no sympathy to our situation. We no longer needed to think about it, we were pleased with Kendall’s professional and sympathetic approach to the problem. In comparing prices with Lowes and Home Depot, the cost was excellent, because he beat their price by $500.00 dollars. Kendall provided three types of systems and we chose a Trane system. Kendall was very professional and most importantly was not there for just the money but made us feel like he really cared by his act of kindness leading up to us doing business with his company. His team responded to our home, ON TIME, and replaced our old unit in a timely and professional manner. Once the work was complete he followed up with us to make sure we were satisfied!! I was delighted to meet Kendal of Harbor Air! I had an inspection by a different AC company 10 days before and paid $301.15 to have a Run Capacitor replaced and $89.95 for a tune up. The AC broke down within a week and Kendal found that the circuit breaker was wearing out and too low in capacity. I had it replaced and the AC is running fine. Harbor Air, and its owners (Kendall and Tiffany Gibbons), have gained a reputation for high-quality service and fairness. Since I started relying on them for my HVAC service several years ago, they have always surpassed my expectations. They are very responsive, recognizing the need to attend to customer emergencies. For example, I had an overflow in my condensate collection pan last night and a crew was at my home this morning to fix the problem. Their rates are very competitive and I’ve never felt the need to shop around. I also see that Kendall treats his employees fairly. I have recommended Harbor Air to my friends and neighbors (some of whom have then used Harbor Air), and I strongly commend the company for its dedication to its customers.

Harbor Air came out to check our AC. It was not blowing cold air after the roof on our condo was replaced. Found that the power was turned off on the roof. They turned it on and it's working fine, and didn't even charge me for the service call.. They were very honest and professional. Our unit is old and will need to be replaced at some point, when the time comes, I will go to Harbor Air.

Kendall and his whole team always respond promptly and same day. Harbor Air has replaced our duct work, fixed and rebuilt the mistakes of other HVAC companies and replaced my A/C condenser unit. They do this while remaining punctual, professional and affordable.

We have a 4 year old home. The air condiitoner we had has had non stop issues. We tried several companies and spent a lot of money trying to make it work effectively. Harbor Air was the first company that said our system wa undersized from the start. It was a hard pill to swallow but we had Harbor Air replace the entire system with a larger unit, SInce then the unit has worked great, kept the house the set temperatuure throughout the heat of the day (one of the issues we had before) and it looks like our electricit consumption is much lower.

Harbor Air's pricing was more than fair and they poured it on to get the job done. They will do all our work from now on. You will not be dissapinted if you call them.
