I've used this company a few times, Tim has been our tech over the last few years. It really helps when you have the same tech, as he gets to know your system in addition, it shows the retention of the company's employees. We had our original ac over 22 years and Tim easily could have recommended a new system years ago. Well it finally caved and it was time. Pricing was fair, discount for cash. System went out over the weekend and by Tuesday two techs came for an entire new AC system. Extremely professional, very nice, efficient. The work was amazing, product is working nicely. It is new, so hopefully no issues. I will update regarding g any changes or warranty issues however I anticipate none.
James responded to our service call timely and immediately went to work to assess our issue. Not only did he find the a/c motor going bad, but got the unit to run until a new motor can be installed. I appreciated that he was patient enough to answer my questions, give us advice for maintenance going forward, and providing options. Love that Air Zone is a local, family owned company.
I had an exceptional experience with Ken whom came to my home on time, and he gave objective feedback right away on the issue of my A/C unit. Ken was to the point, no nonsense and professional. I would recommend using this company, and if Ken is available, asking for him. I was satisfied with the service, and Ken communicated every step he took in resolving the issue with me so that I understood the events of the situation.
AC went out Wednesday and the earliest appointment they had was Friday from 10-2 perfectly fine. Friday comes about and the tech apparently shows up at the house at 9:30 and then leaves not one phone call or attempt was made to let us know they were coming earlier then what they scheduled for us. After contacting the office they said there was nothing we can do but schedule another appointment for Monday. You do know it's Florida in July right? it's 90°+ in the house.
Tim, the technician, was very professional and knowledgeable. He made some excellent suggestions to eliminate future problems. Web site lists veteran discount; I did not receive my veteran discount which was my fault because I didn’t ask. Repair was great!
One of the work called jason was extremely rude and had my outside unit completely disassemble This air conditioning company came to my owned home to fix a cooling problem and ended wit them leave our house wit our outside unit still disassemble, I ask him multiple can you put everything back together like it was before yu took everything apart, but he took off in his van with are unit wiring exposed and we had to buy a new air conditioning unit cause the new people that came said that they mess it up to the point that it need to be replaced
I’m required to use this company due to my homeowners warranty. Every time I’ve used them there’s always been an issue. It seems like if I could never fix the problem is the first time around. They are only interested in trying to sell other services than focusing on the issue. In my opinion, the company is quite sketchy. We just had a new air condition. Installed less than a year ago by this company through my homeowners warranty. Last week the air condition was not cooling. We called them out to have service is done. We were told that the drain line was clogged and needed to be flushed out. They wanted to charge $450.00 for this process. I had the lines flashed with a fraction of the cost, which ended up not being the issue at all. There’s actually an issue with the unit itself. I’m still in the process of trying to get this issue corrected. Each time they come out it takes time from my day and has interfered with time off from work.
We had a new AC system installed in our townhome. Air Zone came out right away and gave us a quote, which was very reasonable. They installed the new system the next day! Their installer, Ted, was very very knowledgeable, did excellent work and was a super nice guy! I would highly recommend Air Zone!!
Prior to June 21st I had been having some issues with my air conditioner not cooling. On June 21st Kevin from Air/Zone Tampa Bay came by the house to assess the issue. It looked like the fan motor had gone bad. After ordering a new fan and motor, two days later Brandon came back to install it. Thank you Air /Zone Tampa Bay for great customer service.😃😃
If you want to spend a week in June with no air conditioning then Air Zone is your company. Air Zone installed a brand new unit in May of 2016 and we had nothing but issues since day 1 with the unit and with the company. The unit was installed incorrectly and the drip pan would fill up with water making the unit stop working and somehow it even overflowed out of my attic and into my closet. They had to repair the water damage caused by the improper installation of the unit. When we first got the unit they eventually came out two times and they were able to re-install the unit correctly. There were two other major parts inside the unit that went bad and had to be replaced in the past 7 years. Over the past 7 years I have been left with no air conditioning in the middle of Summer a total of 4 times.
For the past 7 years I even had a service contract with them to maintain my unit every 6 months so the unit was regularly maintained by them. They came out last summer for my routine maintenance and the following day I had no air conditioning and my capacitor went out. This past week my air conditioner went out and they have sent 2 technicians and have not been able to identify or resolve my problem. The first technician that came out conned me and told me that the capacitor went bad again and that I should install a “booster part” that cost $285. Keep in mind that I changed my capacitor a year ago and capacitors typically last ~5 years. That was not the issue and I have been without air conditioning for almost a week. They are sending another technician on Monday to try to “figure” it out. So be warned if you use them.
