I am a building manager and have been using Affordable for all service, repair and replacement of units on both our commercial and residential properties. From Alex & Cristina, to John (owner) and Lazaro (my fav tech) they are all excellent. Always willing and able to help even when I've called last minute w emergencies.

They installed ac with permits but failed to close out permits. IM in the process of selling my home and found out after over a decade that the permit was outstanding. To rectify the matter I needed an affidavit from this company along with an application to submit to the city. The owner of the compnay(John) wanted to charge a fee for the affidavit, I asked why was I being charged after all I paid for you to handle the work and permit issues. He stated that he doesn’t have the time to look into the matter and he would get back to me at another time. The manager said if you want us to sign off then you need to wait. I expressed there was a time sensitive matter and I would much rather have my applications back so I can have another professional assist. The owner became belligerent and rude torn up my application and threatened me.
All of this was caught on camera as I couldn’t believe I was being treated so nasty and that the environment was so unprofessional

As a building officer I am often asked by the owners to recommend a company for repair or replacement of their AC equipment. I have always given the owners Affordable Air as my contact. The pricing is fair, they are on time as scheduled and installation is quick and clean.

First everyone is very friendly. Trying to do the right thing However, I had an appointment and nobody showed up and no call to give a heads up. So I had to call dispatch to learn that they had gone over on a previous call. They went 4 hours late. This is worse than the cable company. Worse than Typical Miami service. "If you want to waste a day then call right away." After the Tech finally came they did get everything working but now a second trip is necessary to finish the job.

I had called this company to check my A/C unit and they sent someone out the same day which was good but when i went to set up a appointment the first time for 9am they didn't show up or even call that they were being late. I ended up calling them at 11am and they said he wouldn't make it till 1:30 pm because he had an emergency which I understand but they could of called at least. So i ended canceling that one to set up another appointment because I also have a job and need to work. Ended up making an appointment for Saturday same week at 9am and they didn't show up or call. Found out they came at 12 but it was already too late and I needed to work. Point is that I wasted time & money from work to be there for them twice and ended up not getting the work done because they weren't reliable.

Jon and his team at Affordable Air and Heat are your go to people when all else fails, so save yourself the time and expense and contact them first. They are truly forensic technicians, taking the time to diagnose and treat rather than the easy way out of recommending replacements. If they say it has to be replaced, then you can trust that completely knowing that every other option has been explored. I can’t recommend them more highly!

Never showed up...waited all day..when I called to find out why , I immediately got attitude from someone named Alice, who needs an attitude adjustment. I cancelled the appointment and was told OK. do what you want . They do not corner the market and I will certainly not refer them to friends or family and will suggest alternative AC dealers.....

They came the day and close to the time frame they told me.The Service tech was right on very knowledgeable. The company also installed the unit at a good price which is the reason we still call them.

Affordable Air and Heat installed a completely new system in my house. All new duct work and moved my unit completely. They were on time, neat and professional. I would highly recommend.
