Freezing Mechanical Air Conditioning

I had an excellent experience with this company. The installers were very professional and completed the installation in a timely manner. The service was great and they left their work area clean after the installation. I recommend this company to anyone needing A/C services.

My parent's old AC unit must of been at least 20 years old. Give my parents a good run for years but that run finally came to an end. So when it came down to find a new AC unit it got a bit nerve wrecking for my parents. They started worrying about things like what company to choice? Would they be license and insured? And most importantly would they be trustworthy? So through a friend my parents were recommended to call Freezing Mechanical. Mind you my parents AC went down on a Sunday afternoon. They called first thing Monday morning and a gentleman by the name of Alex, showed up that same day by mid afternoon. My mom liked Alex, from the moment he step foot inside the house. Alex, is respectful, mindful, and very knowledgeable. Alex, explain and fully detailed everything to my parents. Answered every single question my parents had for him. I drive trucks for a living and spend most of my time on the road so I wasn't present for the initial meeting with, Alex. Alex, was courteous enough to drive from my parents house for 20 minutes to my place of residences to formally introduce himself. Now that's what I call commitment and loyalty. He wanted me to have a peace of mind on who he was and the company he represented. I needed that since I wasn't going to be there during the removal of the old AC unit or the installation of new one. Well! The new AC was install the very next day. The crew did a wonderful job!!! Which I believe was a father and son duo. They fix the closet where the new unit was going to sit in because it was deteriorated from the old AC unit. They also took the old AC unit, trash, and debris with them as well. Leaving everything clean. I was very pleased!!! My parents were pleased as well!!! My parents are seniors so just knowing there was a company in their house that I could trust really set my mind at ease. Alex, and the crew treated the job like if they were doing it for their very own family. Thank you Freezing Mechanical.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I called this company for an estimate on the replacement of my mother’s air conditioning unit that is 30 years old and the house is 2/1 900 square feet they sent someone by the name of Alex who Without checking anything gives her an estimate of $7000 to

Completely Install New 16 seer A/C unit
Cleaning of the ducts
New electrical
Alex even charged her for installing the new condenser unit on the side of the house which is 10 feet from where it was prior!

She pays the $7000 in Full!

The installers arrive and are not very friendly!
AFTER they completely remove old A/C unit and partially install the New A/C unit they get in the attic and say that the ducts are broken need to be replaced, After calling several times I contact Alex and he says that it cost an additional $2500 to replace only the Flex to the 6 vents in the entire house!

$9500 for a New A/C on a 900 sq feet home is EXCESSIVELY OVERCHARGED and DISHONEST!!

Obviously, she could not pay an additional $2500 for the New ducts and FREEZING MECHANICAL still installed the AC unit with broken ducts cause they had her $7000 already and Did not try to help in any way!

When the installation was finished for $7000!
Alex and FREEZING MECHANICAL lied and installed:

16 seer combination unit which is not what we paid for!
They charged for duct cleaning and the ducts were broken!
They used the existing electrical which they charged for!
The installers scratched the walls where they were working with their ladders and tools!
They could not even change 3 feet of PVC pipe for the drain for the New Air Handler they installed they tied into the same existing PVC pipe which is 4 feet in total length!
And they left all their garbage behind!

1 day after INSTALLATION being that they installed the New Unit with broken ducts the CONDENSATION wet and broke the drywall in the ceiling!

Alex would no longer answer nor take accountability!

I’m going to assume that the equipment installed is of the same poor quality as the service this company lacks to provide!!

Horrible Service, OVER PRICED, NO Accountability and Very DISHONEST DON’T recommend anyone to use this company!!!
