It was a pleasure working with Brad. He was professional and offered his service at a competitive price. Brad came out quickly after we called him. He did some initial maintenance work by checking several parts of our central air system and diagnosed a much larger problem with our TVX unit. He gave us a quote on the spot for the repairs and came back a week later to do what he promised. There is now a noticeable difference in the performance of our central air system.

We needed to replace our old AC unit and I reached out to several companies on a Sunday. Brad got back to me the same day and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Of the 4 companies I contacted, Brad was the only company owner that showed up. Two companies sent sales reps and the 4th (one of the larger service companies in the Orlando area) did not even respond to my inquiry. Brad was genuine and offered competitive pricing, quality Trane products, experienced service technicians, a 5 year labor warranty and great financing options. His installation team of Juan and Heberth did a great job of installing our new 16 SEER Trane AC, Air Handler and thermostat.

I also had an issue with an AC unit at my rental property in town. My tenant stated that the system was not properly cooling the home to the desired temperature. I felt some piece of mind because I have a warranty plan at that home. The warranty company sent an HVAC company in April and they basically just added refrigerant and called it a day. A month+ later, my tenant stated that the issue was ongoing so I asked the warranty company to send a different HVAC company. The 2nd company took a little more time and stated that I had a coil leak and not to worry because the warranty would cover replacing the coil. I was shocked to hear back from the warranty company that the repair diagnosis included $2,400 in non-covered repairs. I explained this situation to Brad and an out of state friend I have that owns an HVAC business. Both advised me that the fees were excessive. I discussed with the warranty company and negotiated a payout. Astoria was able to replace the coil, pressure test and refill the refrigerant for slightly more than the payout, but no where near the $2,400 that the other company would have received.

Brad is honest and trustworthy. We are very happy with the results of the two jobs and plan to use Astoria for all of our HVAC needs at our home and rental property.

Having trouble with AC or thermostat. Did all the troubleshooting, It ran but did not cool. Brad came out Saturday, The problem was the motor died. Brad put in a temp motor. Monday will order a new one. Than when he puts in the new motor, he will go over everything to make sure everything is working good. I will call Brad again if something goes wrong in the future,

Brad was friendly, efficient and went above and beyond to fix my system, and cleaned out the condensate drains without me having to ask. Price was fair as well. Highly recommended.

I had a ac water leak from the unit above and Brad came out at 11 pm to control it before any damage occurred to my condo unit. He removed a old piece of moldy duct board that was laying in one vent and did a A/C system maintenance and upgraded my smart thermostat. Best service and best price. Definitely will recommend them anyone who need ac work.
