Disappointing that they charge a $79 diagnostic fee for something as simple as looking to see if there is a tear in a duct. Instead I called another company that came out and looked at no cost, the other company was even able to come same day.

Update: I want to address the business’s response. I don’t expect anyone to work for free. The other company probably does have it baked into the repair prices, just like Payne probably has the cost of free estimates on new unit installs baked into the cost of a new unit. The other guy was here all of 20 minutes to assess the problem and fix it, glad I didn’t pay Payne a rate of $237 an hour to do the same thing.

Competitive pricing and their technicians are always quick and professional. Highly recommended!

Called Payne AC this morning and Greg Wilson was at my door shortly after I called. Greg quickly diagnosed the issue and made the repair. He was very professional and detailed the issue and what repairs were needed. I highly recommend using this company for any AC repairs.

Always polite and arrives on time. Accurately diagnosed our A/C issues and replaced parts. Even let us know that a part was still covered under warranty, which saved us a considerable amount.

They sign you up for a VIP contract then make you wait 2 nights in the Florida heat to come out and see what’s wrong with your unit. It’s a 3 year old unit And they just serviced the unit 3 months ago. Sounds great until you need them. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for reliable service.

Great customer service and Unbeatable prices compared to other companies. Our technician Greg Wilson was in constant communication, Before our appointment to confirm we were home and ready for him and then when he was in route. He was very knowledgeable on Everything and left nothing for us to wonder about in relation to our new AC system. Rusty did a great job. He is very professional, courteous, and personable. Cudos also to Noah. He and Noah were on time and very knowledgeable and efficient in my repair. They pointed out we had mold in our system and came back the next day to clean it out. I've used Payne since 2004 and have had consistent excellent service. I'll also point out that all their employees think this is a great place to work. When you treat your employees right, they treat your customers right.

I have used Payne in the past and been satisfied. This time, not so much. I've found a new service who installed my new unit and will do my repairs when needed.
