These people are scam artists taking advantage of Floridians who can't be without air. I only called them because my regular guy wasn't answering and my house was at 85 degrees. They came and looked at my air for 5min and told me that it was completely done for and I needed a new unit and then proceeded to quote me over 8k dollars. My normal guy who has been servicing the unit for over 10 years followed up and it turned out a part was out and it cost roughly $160.00 and my air is running again. I don't know what type of company would do this to honest working people. Will NEVER EVER call these people again to come to my house.

On 2/18/2020, One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating came to our house to fix our air conditioner. The technician added a refrigerant. We were charged $570, and we paid it. After 30 minutes, the air conditioner stopped working. We called back. They sent someone the next morning who told us too much of the refrigerant was put into our system, and that was the wrong type, and that someone else would come back the next morning to drain some of the refrigerant. I called and asked that someone come on that same day. The new technicians came, and drained out a large amount of the refrigerant. They said too much was added, and that we would receive a refund of $285.00. The technicians found a debris blockage, cleaned it out, and the air conditioner is working fine. However, One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating refused to give us a refund. We called twice and sent an email. We received a voicemail stating that they do not issue refunds! We will not do business with One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating ever again! Furthermore, we will not encourage anyone to utilize their services!

Buyer Beware!
The technician was nice and courteous. He said my blower wheel and blower motor were bad and needed to be replaced. He quoted me $1300 to fix a vibration issue in my blower. He also suggested since the repair was going to be so expensive, I should consider buying a brand new AC system for between $8,000 and $15,000. I told him I'd think about it. I shopped around and found a replacement blower wheel for $70. I replaced it myself in 30 minutes and the vibration issue went away. So I went from them wanting me to spent $15,000 to fix the issue to actually spending $70 to fix it.

They seem more interested in getting me to spend lots of money than actually fixing just what's broken.

Jesus was my technician and let’s just say if he showed up for every appointment I’d be happy. He was extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable and thorough. He explained everything that he was doing. I thought it was excellent service from Jesus.

Steven called to let me know he'd be arriving earlier than scheduled and provided an estimated arrival time, which allowed me to to prepare for his service appointment. Was extremely proficient and explained in detail every step of the service process, in easy to understand terms. Service call took a little over an hour and Steven was very thorough in every task. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Let me start off by saying that the customer service with this place was AMAZING. Everyone I spoke to, from Paul in care and the reps that called me with updates were great. I had the tech come out on an emergency call at 11:30pm, tech was friendly, but took one look at the outdoor unit and said it was shot and needed to be replaced. I figured, it what it is, and thanked the tech. Next day had a tech from another local company come out to give an estimate, turned out the fan motor was shot, repaired it and now works great.
I just felt that having paid a premium for the rushed emergency service, there would have been a bit more effort involved. Having a 2 year old in a 86 degree house isn't fun. But, loved the attitude of everyone involved.

Justin and chris made my experience with shopping for a new ac unit very easy. They were friendly and provided me with a lot of information on pricing and various ac units. Definitely shop around. Their price just to install a coil was almost $1100. To give me coolant and a dye pack was roughly $500. Called a few other companies that did the same thing which included parts and labor and was told $499 for everything. Call Top Notch Ac as your first option. Gave fair prices and did the work the same day.
