I am thankful for having Mr Josh Q come today and help me with my water heater. He is extremely knowledgeable and I could see he loves his work. He is meticulous and extremely detail oriented. He gave several options to choose from and guide me to make the best decision for my household. He certainly takes pride in what he does. James was a very nice man. Unfortunately my son who does HVAC work has passed away, and I am not sure if I am actually getting quality work, when I call service people. I only had one bad experience with Frank Gay and they fixed it in a timely manner, which is great. But again I am unsure if I am getting quality work. James mounted my air filter vent door to my wall, which I greatly appreciate. I do not know what exactly was wrong with the system because it wasn’t explained to me, he took off a rubber pipe thing and replaced it with what looks like black duct tape, 🤷🏽♀️ and stuck a white pipe out of it, I am unsure what that was suppose to do, then he went out back and touched the spout in the ground near my system and my camera captured each step but I am unclear what he done. 🤷🏽♀️. Long story short I paid $343 for him to change my filter and mount my filter vent door on the wall. Oh wait he said he didn’t charge me for that. So I paid $343 for him to change my filter, switch out my rubber tube to what looks like duct tape and he said he flushed something 🤷🏽♀️. What puzzled me is that he showed me 2 prices, $343 and $309 and he asked me which I would like to pay. I said the $309, he said ok I signed and then I inquired about a receipt, he then said he will send it later tonight or if I don’t receive it by then just call the service and ask for one 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏽♀️. Well he didn’t charge me the $309, I checked my bank account and he charged we the $343. I am unsure why he gave me a choice and did the opposite 🤷🏽♀️. Over all he was a great guy and he did mounted my filter vent door “ free of charge” 😏 I used Frank Gay services 3 times the first time I had a BAD experience, the second time, the tech came out and fixed the first techs damage. He was great and explain everything thoroughly. My third time which was today the tech was nice, I am unsure what was wrong and what was fixed because it wasn’t explained. However, the experience was better then the first and my home is cool again. I wish Frank gay would give their customers itemized receipts stating what we are actually paying for.
I had a plumbing issue, and the service guy was knowledgeable and educated me on some things. I will definitely be calling him back if I have any more issues. I totally recommend him. It was a small job and they didn't hesitate to take care of my issue. I call several plumbers but no one would do a service on a small issue. Very happy with the service.
Sunday emergency call out , came within 3 hours of calling. AWESOME response. The service technician, Hunter, was an encyclopedia of information as I watched him diagnose and do the repair. Had to replace condenser and relay switch. Everything was repaired and back up and running in about an hour after arrival. I highly recommend Hunter and the Frank Gay company
Diagnosed the problem, took care of it and on our time frame. Broken sprinkler line cause by root overgrowth. Sprinkler system was bypassed and new main line from meter was installed. Excellent job and Ethan our tech was most friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely use again.
Michael did an awesome job. We had some old pipes and he had to struggle to get them to cooperate. He gave us suggestions on how to fix them in the future. Much appreciated. Pleasant and interesting conversation while he worked as well.
Jim Loomis did great diagnosed the problem and took the time to explain every detail to us! Professional and amazing at what he does! I’d recommend to anyone in need! They are really there to help not to take advantage of a situation! We will definitely be using his services again!
Jose was knowledgeable and respectful. Found the source of the odor pretty quick. He had several options for treatment, all of which were more expensive than I could do right now. So he gave me some solid advice how to deal with the mold. Jose did a stress test in the system and explained the results, everything is woods it should. I only have one small concern and that is this, when he talked about the UV product and installation cost, said we could check if I could get financing and it wouldn’t affect my credit, soft pull not a hard pull, he was wrong. It put a hard pull on my credit. So he should probably know that in the future so customers can make a better informed decision. Other than that, all was good.
Chris was super pleasant to work with, very knowledgeable, honest and communicative. He showed me the issue and walked me through what he was doing to fix the problem. He didn’t upsell or add anything more than what needed to be done to get the ac back running again. Same day service came out on 4th of July so thank you again for your great service! He went above and beyond what was expected. Will definitely be using his services again.
Mickael was very good about explaining the condition and effects of our old water heater. He told us about different options (including being able to install one we buy somewhere else). He was not pushy on any of the options, which made us more comfortable deciding to go with Frank Gay. Well done. Thank you for the work performed.
