Star Air Conditioning & Heating LLC did an amazing job installing a new HVAC unit in my house. This Veteran/family owned company helped me tremendously when I needed it. Excellent customer service and very professional staff. As a US Marine combat wounded veteran, I suggest anyone to contact Star Air Conditioning to get the best air conditioning and heating service from professionals.

Called with AC out and spoke to tech JR who told me he would be here in 2 to 3 hours. He was less than 1 hour. Fixed the problem and was very courteous and explained it all. Excellent experience. JR is the man ! Definitely recommend

THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST!!! I'm not even exaggerating. My parents and I have both go through them for years and without fail. We always have received the best customer service and prompt call back. Larry Jr. is very kind and understanding. The office staff members are really professional and polite. My AC stopped working this weekend (middle of July, as you know is extremely hot weather in FL) and STAR was busy the day I called, so I was not able to get them and had went and called another AC repair company. Huge waste of time!!, but it was good to see how shady/dodgy other places can be. Tell me my unit was too old to put freon in, because it's discontinued -or- if they do fix the ONE part that it's going to be half the price of a brand new AC unit. From then I knew, I could never stray from STAR AC. STAR was able to get me in the very next morning. My technician today, Daniel was beyond superb, a real ace. He explained the issue and cause in a clear concise manner, which was very helpful to a customer. He was very prompt to finding the issue and resolving it. Most importantly, he didn't try to sell me anything extra and didn't give me BS!! Daniel went straight to the heart of the matter and fixed it. The best AC repair tech ev-er!!! I briefly had the chance to see the owner, Larry Franklin, in action. He is, without a doubt, the most responsive person to his clients that I've ever witnessed in Florida. The ease with which he handles a multitude of problems, simultaneously, was amazing. I can't anyone who wouldn't be pleased with this Company. Very rare service in these times.

I was given a quote for $700 for a new motor.
While going through some paperwork, I found a name of someone my sister-in-law had hired to put in the AC. There was still time on the warranty. However, when they came out to look at it, the capacitor was bad, it was low on refrigerant and there was a leak in the evaporator coil. The motor was not bad.
I will be asking Google for a refund. I was not satisfied with your service. Very disappointed.

I paid for a guy to come out and say he couldn't fix the issue due to the Ac being frozen but we either had a leak or a needed the coils cleaned. He also said scheduling is done in the morning so the next day someone would call me to come fix it.

At 10am the next day(friday) I had received no call so I called in and was told the earliest someone could come out would be Monday. That wasn't acceptable so I had a different company come out and identify and correct the issue which was neither of things the original tech from Star said the problem was. You guys dropped the ball on the diagnosis and dropped the ball on scheduling and left me with a useless bill so no, I won't be recommending you to a friend,.

Great company and customer service. Star AC has been providing me great service for the past 8 years. They're technicians are knowledgeable and best of all the don't try to pull the wool over your eyes. I'd highly recommend them.
