Tim was my service man that came to my house to check out my air conditioning system. He checked everything and was very thorough. This the first time I used this company for air conditioning system. He cleaned the inside area around my air conditioner and then went and did the same thing. He was awesome. A real gentleman and knew his job very well. I would definitely recommend this company that wants a reliable company to take care of their systems including pool heat pumps. 5 star company. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Stephen K Denny are my trusted go-to professionals for all things A/C. They installed a new unit in my home renovation a few years back and I was very happy with the services.
Since then I've had some minor challenges with my unit and they've consistently been reliable and helpful every time I call. I did have some recent concerns and feedback about the repair work they had done and they immediately came out and made it right. One of the techs that made an outstanding impression on me was Glen - he was professional, helpful, punctual and respectful. As a single female homeowner, I am not well versed in technical verbiage for this type of work but Glen was able to explain things to me in a simple and helpful manner without being condescending. Recently moved to Florida, AC stopped working last night! Contacted Stephen K. Denny at 7:30 am on a Sunday after reviewing all their favorable reviews online. They responded quickly and were out within an hour. Shammah was professional, experienced and personable. He repaired my AC, answered all my questions and was considerate and cleaned up! I will be getting a service contract with Stephen K. Denny. Completely satisfied!!

From the time Joe answered the phone until Tim was pulling away in under 3 hours from start to finish, I was amazed with their professionalism, ability to change schedules based on my needs, the diligence of Tim on the job and his incredible patience sitting outside in the 90+ degree heat on hold with the manufacturer of our unit literally for an hour and of course the results!!! The previous company I was using had been to the house 8 times, invoiced me over $2400, changed the compressor twice, along with one of the boards twice and another one once and still couldn't get it to work. Tim diagnosed the issue, called the manufacturer, had them walk him through the diagnostics and realized the last company wired it wrong. I have signed my home and business up for maintenance contracts with them and will recommend them to ANYONE that needs HVAC help

I find the service from Stephen K Denny to be excellent. I appreciate the reminder for the service call, the call from the service person that he is on the way and the email with the service completed to be very thorough and helpful. I needed the uv light system replaced and it was still in warranty. I just had to pay for the service call. The technician was extremely thorough and professional. This has been the best company I have had in the last 20 years. I hope they keep up their professionalism.

I have been a long time customer and supporter of this company.
However I am very disappointed with the way I was treated when dealing with the office. I have Premium Protection Plan that I purchased when you installed my new system in 04/2020. It is good for 10 years, thru 04/30. I told the gentleman this and it was as if he did not believe me. The motor in the air handler had died and a new one had to be ordered. I was 6 days waiting for my A/C to be fixed. I was not called or contacted while waiting for the part to be replaced. When the service tech (who was very nice and knowledgeable) he replaced the part and handed me a bill for $300 plus. The office manager again did not believe me that I had the warranty. He did not even look. It was only when I gave the service tech a copy of the warranty to show him that he EXCUSED me of the repair invoice. I was also charged a service fee for the 1st visit of $111 which is not part of the warranty. I am entitled a refund and I will pursue that. I have always had a good relationship with everyone in the company, but not this time.

I used Stephen K Denny 3 separate times for service. The first was because our AC stopped working in our new house that we had just purchased.

The second was because the AC stopped working again. The Stephen K Denny employee arrived and gave a quote of around $2k to repair this time. Since our unit was older we opted to have a brand new HVAC installed and paid over $9k. While the workers were here I asked about vent cleaning and they said that they didn’t do cleaning but replaced the vents. Told me that if that is something that I would like done in the future then I should plan in the winter since they have to shut off the air and it would be a full day to repair. There was no sense of urgency given to me to have this repair made.

The third time they came was two months after the new unit had been installed (this was a few weeks ago). Water was coming out of the ceiling from under the HVAC unit. They told me that one of the pipes came loose from the drainage or was never properly connected. They said they couldn’t tell which scenario but didn’t charge me for the visit and repair. When the worker for Stephen K Denny was leaving he said to call a water remediation company and call the office once I knew the costs for the repairs.

So my husband called the office once the repair estimates were coming in and the office was very adamant that this wasn’t their fault. I spoke with my home owners insurance who also felt that the company was at fault for the damage to our home. At first they tried to blame our ductwork which was confusing since I had asked their workers about the ductwork when they were installing and they said did not tell me that anything needed to be done. They simply said that it was a service they offered if I wanted to do it. I had asked since I normally have ductwork cleaned when moving into a new home. We’ve gone back and forth with this company and they finally agreed to give $600 towards the $4600 in damages. Although they haven’t returned my phone calls and have given nothing to date.

To me this experience has put a sour taste in my mouth for the company. I will be using a different company moving forward for any repairs and maintenance. I do not trust this company nor recommend their services to anyone I know.
