Dove Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

Dove air has the best service guys around but the company owners are disheartening to say the least. Owners lacking morals and business ethics.

I have purchased over 15,000.00 worth of A/C units from Dove over the past 10 years. After replacing the coil on my large unit twice. The unit is under warranty, I had to pay installation fees twice for over 500.00. When speaking with Lisa (owner of Dove) She told me of her 20 years experience she was positive that the manufacturer would not pay for the service. Dumb founded I researched and found that the manufacturer had a class action suit going and would pay both install fee's for both coils as they were defective. When bringing this to owners attention she did not want to hear any part of it. She told me she had difficulty with this sort of thing. She told me she would send documentation so I could file the claim form to the units manufacturer. She did not. I called again requesting documentation so I could file for the reimbursement and she told me I was bothering her on a saturday morning. I paid her again in full. Looks like yelp and Angies list will be hearing from me. God bless those who steal, rob, and take advantage of loyal customers.

I would highly recommend Dove AC for any air conditioning needs! They were friendly and professional and got the job done quick! They sent someone out the same day I called (on a Sunday!) they were so helpful! The staff and owners are great!

We are so pleased to have found such a reliable and honest local company. We have been using them for our business for 2 years and for a year since we purchased a home in Jupiter. We have also purchased yearly contracts for maintenance which is great! They call you at the 6 month mark to schedule your maintenance so you dont have to remember to do it. Their customer service is excellent, very friendly and helpful. The service repair advisors are fantastic and do excellent work. The supervising Manager is excellent too! When you call them they respond promptly!

Thank you is just the tip of the iceberg. These guys are amazing and my husband and I have been using this company for many years not only for our home but for his company. Our last repair was exceptional and I highly recommend them, not to mention my free filters each time they come out. My sincere gratitude and appreciation to all the staff. P

Customer arrived within an hour. Gave us the best price to replace our 15 year old unit. Showed up the next day and was finished installing by 5 pm.

I have been using Dove for my home ac service as well as at my place of business where I have a number of chillers. They are fast and efficient and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants quality work done quickly.

Called today 3/9 with no cooling. I had them out for regular maintenance in December. Used them at the recommendation of the previous homeowner. There was some confusion when they came last time. The technician told my wife we needed a new line and he put it in, the office later called and said that since he didn’t ask us first they would not charge us.

The owners wife who answered the phone today rudely told me that it was not the case. Instead of hearing me out and letting me explain and then politely correcting me, she all but called me an idiot and told me that “new line” which is like draino is what they installed. Yelling at me I might add. My bad, I’m not an AC expert, how was I supposed to know?

While in conversation she kept cutting me off saying I don’t have a service plan anymore, so they have to charge me $89, which by the way I was fine with, and when I asked if I could please explain what was going on, why she was being so rude and if there was someone else I could speak with she told me “I’m the owners wife, get someone else to clean out your F@cking drain.” She then hung up.

Simon, if this is a family business then, like me, your families livelihood is in dependent on trust and loyalty. This woman was nasty from the minute she called me to the minute she hung up. I am appalled that you are still in business. Shame on you.

AVOID this company at all costs. It is my mission to let everyone know just how badly this company treats its customers.
