Our upstairs unit stopped working and within minutes of me calling in the issue to their office, I received a call from Tim. Tim was courteous and very helpful and had our problem fixed quickly. I was very impressed with his customer service. It’s good to see that in this day and age. I will definitely use Jenkins again and hopefully Tim will be the technician on call.
It is hard to explain how disappointed I am in this company. Two years ago I had this company install two A/C's in my brand new home on Dr's Lake. In the past two weeks the 5 ton unit for our downstairs portion has been freezing over. They quoted me 615 dollars to replace a valve in my 2 year old 5 ton Carrier unit. A unit they told me was top tier and would last many many years without any major servicing needed. Well that was lie number one. Lie number two was when they stated that if something failed on the A/C within the warranty period they would pay for it. Im still in the warranty period but was advised when they called and told me they had the part that the warranty only covers the parts on the machine and not labor. This is only the tip of the iceberg they were also extremely rude and unprofessional during initial install. The owner of the company stated that we should not sleep with our bedroom doors closed because it is hard on the A/C units and could not cool properly in an extremely well insulated home.It also took two weeks to have someone come change one of our return vents that was loose and made a hum while the ac unit was running. Throughout our entire experience they have been the worst company I have dealt with in the last 15 years in the Jacksonville area. They are rude and worthless to deal with and I advise anyone in the area to support another business and to avoid them at all costs. At this point the only reason they are even worth a one star review is they came to the service call only 45 minutes late.I am just glad they showed up at this point. And it shows a lot that Im saying they showed up only 45 minutes late due to the fact I am surprised they even showed up.
The HVAC professional that came out was so friendly and kids even though he was called to come very far out late at night. My kids were curious and wanted to follow him around and he was friendly with them both and just let them join in. Our problem was fixed quickly but he stayed to make sure it was working properly after the fix. I appreciate everything and would recommend them to anyone!
As an 11-year Veteran of the Marine Corps, I prefer using local businesses that are owned by Veterans. To me, that's a perk worth mentioning Mr Jenkins. Additionally, it's a real plus to have Keith back as our service tech. He has years of experience and has never steered us wrong. It's so reassuring to have a company and service tech you can trust for their knowledge and expertise. 11/19/21: Michael was my tech today for my HVAC PM. I now have a 2nd option for a tech I can trust with my unit. Additionally, this company honors military veterans and provides a discount for my service which is nice. Don't hesitate to use Jenkins if you are looking for an HVAC company to work with you. 5/4/23: Keith was out today for my check & tune on my A/C. As usual, he's trustworthy, experienced, & VERY knowledgeable. This is what I love about Jenkins. BTW, Anita, who runs the office, is great to work with.
