Duck Duck Rooter Plumbing, Septic & Air Conditioning

I was on the fence on this because the last guy that came was honest and charged me properly if I could rate my experience just with him it would be a 5 but I have to rate everything.

I called duck duck rooter because my septic grinder pump alarm was going off. They came out and assessed my grinder. At first they said it was just the float. The tech had the pump above ground sitting on the lawn and I still don’t know what he was trying to do but he was working on something near my outlet where the pump was plugged in and the pump was running fine while sitting on the lawn. I was speaking to the other technician from my garage when he went whoa! I asked what happened the guy who was near the outlet said the outlet arched. The grinder pump no longer worked. He mentioned coming back the next day with a new float I agreed. He came back and now the grinder pump was broken. No longer was it just the float…..

After he kept saying he didn’t do anything I let them leave and went to speak to my builder since my home was only 2 years old. Without hesitation or follow up they left. I reviewed the camera and still don’t know the point of running the grinder pump on the lawn but whatever was going on blew the grinder pump out.

While waiting on warranty for the pump I had duck duck rooter come out and pump my septic so it wouldn’t back up. All 3 times i was charged over $300 dollars. I had them pump one last time and the tech that came out charged me $175 I inquired why the difference he said the size of this little tank should not be charging you for the large tanks. I asked him to have his manager contact me to refund the overcharges. He called, the lady said she’d send the message never heard back.

I took my lumps being over charged for 4 pump outs, having the grinder pump broken which equaled +$2000 dollars it’s hard for me to hear the song on the radio knowing my experience. Hopefully they will look up my info and reach out. I’m sure I will use them again if pump out is needed because now I know what the charge should be and they are prompt and will be on time and handle it quickly. I just wish I had a little better service especially since the original problem was the float switch.

The Duck Duck Rooter team performed an excellent job on my drainfield installation. They were thorough, prompt, and professional. Additionally, Mr. Jeff Norman guided me through every step of the process. I would highly recommend them for any septic service.

FINALLY!!! A skilled and honest plumber.

Until now, I had nearly given up on finding an honest plumbing company. There are many scammers out there and I've experienced my fair share amongst the plumbers. Most without actual skill.

I followed up on a referral from a friend about Duck Duck Rooter. The first thing that impressed me was they were actually able to give me an accurate time window for their arrival.

They sent an experienced person who actually knew what he was doing. A true professional.
They sent Ryder. He is very skilled at his profession and quickly solved the problem without wasting time. Better yet, he was fully prepared. I cannot say that about any other plumbing company whom I've experienced. As a bonus, he is a kind person.

For once, I am actually impressed with a plumbing company. You can bet that I'll call Duck Duck Rooter for all my plumbing needs. I'm definately telling all my friends about them.

Had Duck Duck Rooter out to replace a failed septic system at a busy commercial property. Jeff and his team were very helpful, extremely responsive, and made the process smooth from start to finish. I hope not to replace another septic system, but if I did they'd be my first call.

This company set an appt a week in advance then called the morning scheduled to state they would be there by the scheduled time only to call back with a very rude and negative attitude to ask if I could “wait for 4 days when it was noted I scheduled for plumbing issues! Issues with septic system! Absolutely would not recommend and the lady in office not the one whom scheduled however the other lady was super rude! They are also more expensive then the company I actually used and had a wonderful experience with!!! As a consumer I would not recommend our time is valuable as well. Should not be rude when questioned what time they would be there when you rearranged your entire day for them to arrive within a four hour window that was verified that it was certain that same am prior to appt!

Duck Duck Rooter has provided excellent service for every job they have done at our home. Our most recent service was provided by Earle, Mike and Cole. They all worked tirelessly in order to install our household water filter which required some digging in the crawl space under the house. They were professional and polite and did an excellent job. They took the time to explain everything and they cleaned up nicely before they left. Duck Duck Rooter is the only plumber for our household.

I am impressed with the work ethic and integrity of these guys. Yesterday they experienced a quality issue with the main septic tank leaking on a new install. Without me knowing about the problem. They called and got the tank replaced. While the crew that was here might not know the business vernacular they demonstrated a good understanding of the Cost of Quality as opposed to the Cost of Poor Quality. Good job all around. They were here on time. They took appropriate care of my property. The were precise in checking level of the tanks and the drain field. I would recommend them without reservation to someone needing a new or replacement septic system.

Josh helped us clean out our clogged kitchen sink drain, but ended up being much more than just a plumber. He was very outgoing, attentive, informative, considerate, and made great conversation. He asked detailed questions to ascertain the situation and apply proper technique to the problem. He knew what he was doing, and informed us of all the steps he was taking along the way. He made sure the area he worked in was safe for himself as well as the property's residents, and that it was left cleaner than it was before he arrived, which was very much appreciated. We can't say we've ever had such a pleasant and positive experience from a plumber. We've found our plumber.

Bottom line: Don't look elsewhere for plumbing work. Go with Duck Duck Rooter. You will not be disappointed.

Very good work. Usually, having a new service person out to my house is extremely stressful, but Josh made it very stress-free with professional, friendly, and attentive service. Great pricing with no guess-work or "special" deals that aren't so special. I will be recommending this company and service person and using them in the future!
