Of course our heat pump goes out during the summer heat wave, just like everyone else in Jacksonville, and we called a couple of heat pump companies we’ve worked with before & they were backed up for a day or more. We have used David Gray for our plumbing work in the past and I thought I would give them a call. Within a couple of hours of our call, DGHA technician Mike O. shows up to help save the day. He quickly diagnosed that the outside condenser unit was not getting power, checked both breakers and found a faulty & old breaker on the outside wall of our home was bad. The repair was made quickly and he double checked to make sure the system was working properly using diagnostic equipment and said all other parts of the system checked out. The entire operation from the phone call to customer service and the technician visit by Mike O. was prompt, courteous, and professional. The service call was less than $300 and our house was back down to normal temps by the end of the day (went up to around 82 degrees in the house when the heat pump gave out the night before). We wouldn’t hesitate to call DGHA again if we need work done on the heat pump, etc.
I had my A/C go out on a Friday evening. The technician came out same day and new system was installed by 11:00 am Saturday morning. Brand new Carrier system. Great service and professionalism. Definitely recommend.
Bryan showed up when he said he would. He was polite, professional, and fun to chat with. The only thing he was wrong about was when he said LeBron is a better player than MJ. Wrong! Seriously, I will use David Gray again for my AC needs and I hope Bryan comes by again so we can pick up our debate over the NBA in the 80's and 90's vs today. Hey David Gray, Bryan was a great hire!
David Gray’s HVAC Technician Hamid Boukhal installed a Halo LED Whole Home Air Purification System in my new A/C system today. He also made a few post installation adjustments to my system to ensure the most efficient operation. Hamid is personable, professional and has a great deal of experience with A/C systems operation. He made the initial recommendation to replace the A/C system that existed in my condo when I purchased it a few month ago.
I enjoy working with Hamid and know the maintenance of my system going forward is in good hands with the David Gray organization and Hamid
Hopefully someone from David Gray will contact me as no one has returned our last 3 calls. Very disappointed in their recent customer service "specifically Accounts Receivable" . We had scheduled an annual maintenance visit and requested to have the billing for it. The night before the arrival a capacitor blew out and we had an emergency call and gladly paid the 243.00 for the service. The next day at the time for the originally scheduled maintenance appt NO ONE SHOWED UP, NO ONE CALLED etc... We then call on Monday the following week to ask why this happened to which a new service appt was made and the technician arrived as agreed. We paid for the visit in the amount of 110.16 - NOTE: the technician broke a coupling on the drain of our unit in the garage that I fixed because I didn't want to wait for them to come back out and potentially charge me for their error, in addition it soaked my adjacent wall inside the house! NOW I've received a bill for 169.00 for the visit THAT NO ONE SHOWED UP FOR!!! We've emailed and called the representative LaQuita Lawhorn twice but no response and we are still receiving the bill. Is this the type of service I expect after using them over a 10yr span ABSOLUTELY NOT! I can only hope they take the time to read this and actually respond to me, I can only leave so many voicemails since it's the only way to contact anyone in the billing or accounts receivable departments.
Jose and his team with David Gray heating and air were very prompt, friendly, and professional. I have twin toddlers and although they are rowdy and rambunctious the crew seemed to enjoy their presence as we swapped stories of family fun events/attractions to attend locally, while they installed our new AC unit in my home yesterday. If you’re in the market for a new unit or any repairs I highly suggest David Gray and request Jose as your serviceman!! He’s very informative and knowledgeable!!
I have found my new HVAC company! I’ve tried several and Mike was the first person that his work matched what he was saying. Very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.
My unit is 2 years old but somehow I had a leak in the coil. Its under warranty but the labor is TOO MUCH! They come to replace it- takes 4 hours and NOW my AC is not working! It’s 85 in my house and I have to spend the night in this heat when my AC was working perfectly this morning!! I feel they scammed me and I’m very upset!!!
