Very disappointed as a long time standing customer of yours. I have had a contract for over 5 years or more. My AC unit was acting up and the tech came over and instead of trying to fix it. He became a sales men. Trying to charge me 6k. Not even attempting to do maintenance. Didn’t clean my coils. Did go to the building to check the compressor. Didn’t put freezeon. Check the pipes for excess water nothing. All he said I’ll leave it blowing air but said I’ll come and change it if you buy a new one. What happened to the service??
Had to edit this post because they got me again. Today I had to call to say I had little running water. Nice guy comes to help. But what happens now I have no running water. I have to wait for a piece that will take 4 days and with a family who can not cook, shower and worse use the bathroom. Oh wait and 500 dollars in the whole.

I called T.A. for a visit since my refrigerator was not working. First visit they gave me the diagnostic that it was a gas leakage and that they would come back the next day to repair it. They charged me for the visit.
Next day comes another technician from the same company, checks again the appliance for 15 mins and tells me that the problem is the compressor and that the other guy gave me the wrong diagnostic. Charges me again almost $200 for the new diagnostic and tells me to call the company to order a new compressor. Rude guy.
After I call Total Appliance to complain, the manager (Milton) promises to give me a credit for the first visit and that they would order a new compressor to fix the problem. It has been almost 2 months from that call and they are no longer answering my emails and my fridge is still broken. Awful service.

Very disappointed! I had a problem with my washer I called them so they can check it and they sent technician. The technician came and checked the machine but apparently he doesn’t know anything about a washer machine. I was told that since the machine was too old they couldn’t get the parts to fix it. I was told that I need a new machine. I called another company for a second opinion, they came and I was told that I only needed a belt, they install the new belt and it being over 30 days the machine still working fine. I already made like 4 washers and I’m not having any problem. I called total company and explained what had happened and I requested for some one to explain why their technician was not able to install a belt but instead recommended me to buy another machine. I had an appointment for today between Noon and 4pm but never showed up. I called and they told me that was my fault that I did not answer my door when the tecnician knocked on my door. It is very strange because I have a door bell which is perfectly working and It never rang. I stayed at home the whole day waiting for them and I did not received one call to let me know anything. I am very unsatisfied with their service due to their lack of responsability and communication in my situation.

Came over to fix the toilet seat, the toilet seat was taken off but the screw part they was ordered was wrong and when I asked for them to stay until the toilet seat was back on, they threatened to call the cops on me and my grandparents.

Terrible terrible company. For a company that is based inside of century village they do not know how to treat senior citizens. It’s outrageous the techs that came to “fix” the ac in my mother’s apartment we’re absolutely rude to her. She was explaining her problem and the tech walked away and left her with the words in her mouth. Then they did one repair and left it In worse condition than it was. My mother pays a monthly payment for this service and they never I mean never resolve her solution. The unit is rotted and need to be replaced. This company needs to be removed from century village. Disgusting service. These guys don’t think if maybe it was their mother that needed help or anything like that. They need a better company in that community who will take care of senior citizens and not disrespect them. Some of them are feeble and are not able to deal with these things. I know that my review won’t receive any recognition but I made one anyway.

Kenneth did a wonderful job fixing my plumbing issue and also gave me a quote on a hot water heater. He was on time and thorough & very friendly. Total Appliances has never let me down in the three years we’ve been using them!

1. You called for the service, they scheduled you 2 weeks later
2. The person come and check the problem and tell you missing part and he will order and need to reschedule for the service
3. Waited almost 2 months for the part to fix my dishwasher
4 everytime I called, you will only get the answer like, it is going to schedule to ship out by the end of the week and once they actually ship out and provide tracking number we will let you know.
5. I call every week and the Clerk replied my issue saying this is not life threaten so I should wait.
I am very disappointed about Total Appliance service.

BEWARE of this company. SCAM from start to finish. The sales department does a great job adding feature after feature to your warranty, however, when it comes time to deliver on the service they ALWAYS say, "check your exclusions section" - which is an endless list of item after item that is NOT covered that you pay for in your service! I purchased a service contract from them including AC subsidy for a new system should it die, and I had previous continuous coverage with another company which they required for that provision. The system failed and they would NOT honor that saying, "check the exclusions list"! I needed a stovetop replacement mother board in January of this year, ALSO NOT COVERED. They showed up last week with the replacement - over 3 months later, it didn't work. The technician said the burners need to be replaced, and assured me it would be covered 100%, well guess what, once again, "check the exclusions list", nope, they will not cover that either. Paula in the parts department is a rude obnoxious person who makes you feel like she is doing you (the customer) a favor by telling you time and again that items are not covered. This service contract is a joke. They know how to take your money, but not cover one single thing they claim to. Maybe a complaint to the state AG would help others avoid this complete scam of a company.

If you ever want anything to ever actually get fixed don't even think about using this place. Had an inspection done on a dishwasher that wasn't working properly. Was told it needed a new pump, okay sounds good. A week later (2 weeks into this whole ordeal) new pump is brought and installed and "magically" during the instillation it all of a sudden needed a new circuit board that was working just fine until the tech came to install the new pump. Was then told I would have to spend another $250 for a new board that the tech broke. A "supervisor" came the next week and looked at it and said "oh the connection was just broken". Hmmmm how did that happen. He then said "we can fix it in our shop". So called a week later and told "oh we don't have a shop we don't know when the board will come back". So over a month later and out over $500 bucks with no working dishwasher I told them to forget it. Read the other reviews, I fell for their scam. I will make sure my entire luxury high rise never use them again. And I will be writing to the HOA to have them removed from the "approved contractors" list.
