Found out our toilet was clogged in the am, but it was so bad and couldn't be fixed by us so we called them around 12pm and before the end of the day they came and fixed it. We were gonna be bathroomless and they went above and beyond and fixed it. Thank you so much!!!! 100 stars!

Very poor service. Shortly after doing a routine maintenance check including safety equipment, the system overflowed. The overflow shutoff valves both failed. Yet when we called to have someone re-look at the system they wanted to charge us again.

Follow Up: After several phone calls and intervention by the general manager, I am happy to report that the company did the right thing and sent a highly experienced technician (Rick) to my home to see why my recently serviced air conditioner flooded the hallway. While he was not able to reproduce the overflow shutoff failure, he did check over the entire system and make sure everything was now working as it was supposed to. Good to see that they respond to customer feedback and I am thankful that they rose to the occasion. (Thanks Rick for taking the time and for doing a thorough review. It is much appreciated)

Shaheed had completed maintenance service on my air conditioner in the past. We instantly recognized each other. He is very knowledgeable, prompt, cordial and efficient . He explained everything he was doing, took pictures as he progressed and explained the complete work before asking me to sign off on the job

I called Modern Service to set up a maintenance appointment. I paid them $200.00 in advance of the first appointment. The technician took one look at my AC unit and declared that I needed to buy a new compressor. Then he said I needed to buy a new AC since the compressor would cost close to $4000.00 He said it would cost me $12000.00 to $15000.00 for a new AC unit! I told him I did not want to buy a new unit. He said he would put a little gas in, but there was a leak that he would not be able to fix, and left. Before he left he demanded another $209.00. He was flustered and actually managed to leave all his equipment behind. Meanwhile, my house thermostat read 85 degrees inside! I called a friend who did AC work, and he came over with his AC equipment and filled my AC and fixed the leak. He charged me $383.00 to do the job. The Modern technician returned hours later asking if his equipment was left at my home. I said it was, he was very grateful. He said his boss and his wife would kill him if he lost his equipment. Needless to say, Modern Service will never hear from me again after 20 years of continued service. They are incompetent and untrustworthy. They said they had no intention of returning the additional $200.00 for the non service that was provided. Do yourself a favor and do not call these guys.If you do, you will be sorry.... My goodness.

It was a pleasure working with James Williams on two recent projects--reworking a kitchen trap and relocating our main water shut-off valve. James showed up when promised, did excellent, quality work and cleaned up afterwards. The pricing was just as quoted before the work began--no surprises.

I have been working with Modern for at least 12 years for 2 times/yr maintenance- service contracts. When it came time time to replace my system, I didn't think twice about having Modern do the work. Duglas and Luis arrived promptly at 10 AM and waisted no time removing the old system and installing a new Carrier. They even worked through the tornado warnings raging along the Suncoast !

the whole experience from sales, installation, and service was very professional. then installers of our new air Conditioning system did an excellent job. very neat, courteous, and professional. they explained the system to us in detail. the followup from modern services was also very informative. we would highly recommend the company

Modern Services technicians have performed maintenance service on my AC for many years and have always been efficient, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. When the unit exceeded its years and needed to be replaced, they came out immediately and installed a new energy efficient unit. A follow up call was handled efficiently and much to my satisfaction by Randy and Mike in the office and technician Shaheed on site. I highly recommend this company.

I am always impressed with Modern Services. Their technicians are always on time, knowledgeable and courteous. My last technician, Shaheed, was very helpful in explaining and showing me pictures of my HVAC system. We discussed ways of prolonging the life of my unit, and Shaheed installed all the parts needed to do so.

Shaheed was very polite and professional. My husband would actually prefer Shaheed again for our next service call. Maintenance appointment was schedule with a phone call reminder and they were prompt and efficient.
