Shaun A was on time for our system maintenance check, he was thorough in his evaluation and explanation of all issues associated with the system. His customer relations skills are great. He was careful in keeping his work area clean, and he was polite to both my wife and me.

Modern Services has been my air conditioning service for many years, including the installation of my home system. They are a professional, honest, and dependable company. Their employees are well trained, polite, and considerate, explaining what has been done and what may be needed in the near future. I have been totally satisfied with Modern Services and their employees.
I was quoted a price for a new HVAC system, they didn't complete the installation timely. (still not done). Also are trying to charge more than the quoted price. This is to correct the install of the unit. I was misinformed by two different people so far. They refuse to make it right. They put rocks under the hurricane pad after they placed the unit. Then stacked the rocks up around the hurricane pad. Those rocks will become projectiles when a lawn mower gets next to them. I was not consulted about any possibilities of install. Luis told me people make mistakes. when I said I should not have to pay for the company's mistakes he smiled and shook his head. See for yourself what they think is a good install.I would not reccomend this company to my worst enemy.
I'd give Modern Services zero stars if Google allowed it. Modern Services is without a doubt one of the worst companies that I have ever done business with. They are dishonest, lazy, incompetent, do not return phone calls and couldn't care less about customer satisfaction.
They came to my house on 12/07/16 for a simple dryer repair. I was told they'd be back in 2-3 days with the parts. Meanwhile, it's been over 3 weeks and they still don't have the parts, and I'll they've done is make a myriad of excuses.
This morning I was completely fed up with the situation; I took action myself. The first appliance parts store that I called in Fort Myers (3 miles from my house) has the exact parts needed in stock.
When I called the Modern Services to inform the them that the parts are available IMMEDIATELY, they told me they didn't know if they would be able to pick up the parts and couldn't tell me when they could come out to fix my dryer because "their repair technician was in Naples".
I'll repeat it again - Modern Services is dishonest, lazy, incompetent, do not return phone calls and couldn't care less about customer satisfaction.
Maybe I'll get extremely lucky and have my dryer fixed before 2017.

My husband and I were very pleased with the work that was done. We considered him to be very honest, and our air conditioner has been working without issue ever since.
Modern Services has been servicing my Florida home for a few years now and are doing a great job. They are very accommodating with my schedule. Their technicians are very professional and thorough. I would highly recommend them.
I accidentally called these people because I thought that they were going to do my AC unit and apparently there's another modern company out there called modern technology heating and Air. And the modern service person who I was talking to was trying to take my business and acting like there was not another company even though he knew that there was and instead of just being a helpful gentleman and trying to get me where I needed to go he try to steal their business and I did not appreciate that. So that's why they got one star
Modern Services has great technicians who are competent, very professional, and very courteous. Their office personnel are also very nice and provide excellent service. We bought a Maytag air conditioner from them about 7 years ago, and although Maytag no longer makes air conditioners, Modern Service has warranted the product.
Our AC was failing and our power consumption was going sky high. We contacted Modern Services and they had a technician there within the hour. He located a coolant leak near the compressor. I received multiple updates on the repair, which was really nice as I am up in MA for the summer. He repaired the leak and found another issue with our humidistat that could have contributed to the leak. We resolved that issue by removing the humidistat from the circuit and installing a timer to prevent the AC from restarting too quickly. The repair was not cheap but I feel the repair was first class. I am now under a service contract with Modern Services which may have isolated this problem before it happened. My energy consumption is back to normal. They deserve a 5 star rating on this one.
Modern Services Air Conditioning service is extremely poor, on the verge of being fraudulent. We required a service call for our 9 year old York Unit which was not cooling properly and paid up front for an annual service plan to save on potential future costs. The first service technician could not determine the problem. The second technician determined that we needed a new coil. The Labor estimate was $2,500. He did not advise us that it was possible to charge the unit with Freon for some temporary relief. Thus we paid a $180 Service call and a $180 Annual Plan for NOTHING ! Our York Unit had a 10 year warranty but Modern claimed that the unit was not in our name (Probably in the name of our remodeling contractor who claimed the rebate) and thus the warranty was not valid. I asked several times (on a Friday) to obtain a rough estimate of the cost of the Coil to make a determination as to whether we would repair or replace. The Modern Estimator refused to even provide a rough estimate. Needless to say we opted to replace the A/C System and we did NOT give Modern the opportunity to quote. Do NOT use this company !!
