I believe the two gentlemen who worked at our home were Chris and Zach. Two terrific employees representing a reputable and trustworthy company. AC pooped out in the middle of a heat wave. Diane at the front office, was kind enough to confer with Jeff and rushed our AC replacement. Service was awesome from start to finish. Our repair guys were amazing. Thoughtful and courteous. Real professionals and nice too! Very much appreciated and would highly, highly recommend.

I have been using Dunedin Refrigeration for approximately 23 years. They have always serviced and repaired my a/c unit. Very professional and knowledgeable technicians. Yesterday I had a repair done and Ray was my Tech. He was great. He got the job done quickly and had my air blowing cold in no time.

We bought a villa in April, and knew from the home inspection that replacement of the AC would be in our future - just didn't expect it the first month or so! When the system started to leak, I called another company that had been recommended to me; they were unable to come that day, but Dunedin Refrigeration did. After discussion with Dunedin, we decided to replace rather than repair the system. Dunedin provided quotes for a couple of different systems which the competitor was unable to match. We went with Dunedin, and the installation was done right on schedule. Great service, and very pleasant and professional staff!

We have used Dunedin Refrigeration on all our properties. In particular, we just added a mini-split to a new patio room. The area that the installers had to work in was less than one foot in width. They needed to run the lines and cover (because they always are into the cosmetics of their work) more than 18 feet in this one foot crawl space. They did it without any whine (or cheese)! The job was done to perfection. That's why we ALWAYS call Dunedin Refrigeration for our air conditioning needs.

Dunedin refrigeration installed a compete system for us as well as some additional returns roughly 6 years ago. Since then we have continued to use them to service that system and complete our duct replacement. Very friendly people, competitive pricing and excellent service. What else do you need??

Very pleased with Dunedin Refrigeration. Had a new AC system installed. System works great. They were on time, efficient in installation, were spotless in cleanup, and answered all questions. Price was very competitive too. I give them the very highest recommendation.

A call placed to your HVAC provider, outside of a routine Maintenace, is rarely done when you’re having a good day. As part-time residents of our trailer home, this was very true for us. We were not in residence when we received an electric bill that was more than double what we’d been paying while we were living there. A call to a neighbor confirmed that the AC was running (constantly), but the house was almost ten degrees above the thermostat’s set temperature.

Any company is a collection of people, and those people can be good or bad, but it takes a leadership team to make each and every person want to perform at their best. The technician who diagnosed the old unit was understanding of our part-time status, and he dealt well with the fact that we weren’t there. He sent pictures, and he spoke patiently to us on the phone while explaining just what was wrong. The ladies in the office were equally professional as they found parts and calculated labor to repair our system, and were prepared when the inevitable question, “And how much to just replace the system?” came from us. It was, after all, an old unit.

The sales team went above and beyond, explaining all of our options, looking for alternative brands, and answering our questions. We ultimately decided to replace for our own piece of mind. I was less concerned about the replacement parts failing than I was about what might fail next in a unit as old as ours was. Being in residence only half the year is a big determining factor.

They worked well with our neighbor, knew when to call him and when to call us, completed the work professionally, sent us pictures, and left a clean job site. Spending the kind of money that a new AC unit costs is nerve wracking, especially when you can’t be there to make sure that the job is done right (not like we would actually know, but my husband likes to walk around and grunt at different things, which gives the impression that he has a clue), but our installers and the back-office people that we were dealing with helped to make sure that we felt absolutely comfortable that everything was going well.

For people that work in uncomfortable heat outside and are forced to deal with homeowners who are not in great moods when the transaction begins, everyone on our team was courteous, polite, patient, and pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend Dunedin Refrigeration.

Dunedin Refrigeration replaced my aging AC/heat system. The price was right and the technicians were professional and courteous and did a great job. Definitely a solid business to work with.

We and the previous owners of this house have used this company since 2008 and never had any problem. However, today we needed a new thermostat and I felt that they were price gouging. No problem with the technician -- he was courteous and professional.
However, they charge $300 for a thermostat that costs $55 to $100 online. (Their explanation is that they don't buy it online and theirs have a warranty. I'm sure any Honeywell thermostat I buy will have a warranty.) But my main complaint is that they charge the $95 service fee on top of whatever work they do, which I have never heard of with any other company. We personally have only used them for routine maintenance in the past, so the service charge wasn't an issue. We'll be needing a new system soon but obviously will have to get several estimates.
