Island Air Conditioning

I came home to a flood and the ceiling leaking. I got island air on a recommendation and called right away. It was after hours, but got a call back promptly. Steve said he could help me out and would be there after the job he was on was done. He texted me 45 minutes later and said he was on his way. He assessed the problem and repaired it quickly and professionally. Considering that it was after hours I thought the bill was reasonable. Highly recommend for all your A/C needs.

What a great experience. Wish I would used this company a long time ago. Thank you Chip for your professional ethics, time, and courtesy to find the problem at , before even considering to toss it to another service call. I will recommend this company to everyone.

Our AC stopped working on the bottom floor of our 2 story townhouse in Delray Beach- which made it miserable given that it’s May in South Florida. I called and asked for the soonest appointment available - which was late the next day. A few hours later, they called me back when another customer canceled their appointment and were able to move up the scheduled time - which we really appreciated. The technician, Steven O, was extremely courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. He had the system working shortly and was able to explain the issue to me, how it was resolved, and what we can do in the future to help maintain it. Excellent technician.

A neighbor told he had used Island Air and recommended to me for a replacement and was happy with their service.
I called them on a Tuesday, they installed an entire system on Thursday.
The 2 techs were great, Glenn & Jeremy.
The job they performed was clean, professional and they took the time to review all aspects of the installation and operation with me.

The Island AC Team is the absolute best, there truly is no comparison! We are a maintenance contract customer set up for 2x a year inspection, cleaning, testing etc. and whether it’s a maintenance call or an emergency call the service is top notch! Their technicians are polite, clean, communicative and meticulous, always providing the best in class service. I called in this evening, after hours and left a message for the on call technician. Within 45min I received a return call and within 1hr Keith arrived, HAPPY to be of service!!! Let’s just say that in less than 30min, our upstairs unit was up and cooling! My sincere appreciation and thanks to Keith and the Island AC Team :)

We have used Island Air for 6 years and we are thrilled with them! We recently had our ac motor break down and the 2 parts we needed were not going to be available for 4 weeks! Melissa at Island Air, made it all work out for us in less than a week!!! The whole group is absolutely the best!

Steve provided a highly detailed and very informative consultation. The technicians did a phenomenal job with installation and explanation of the features of our new climate control system.

After losing our heat on a cold night for South Florida, we called Island Air twice, figuring they sold us our unit, and would be the best ones to fix it.

Sadly, the company never called us back, and we practically froze that night. The next morning, we speak with their female owner, who was not apologetic at all. She said the after hours service was for their customers who had service agreements.

We did not have a service agreement but we were customers for over a decade, having the company come out at least once a year to service our unit, they installed. We would've also paid the extra charge for service since we were freezing and had no other options.

The owner told me their after hours was run by one guy, who may or may not call a person back, since he has to be at work at 8AM. That's not my problem that the company is too "thrifty" to give a guy the morning off since he just worked the graveyard shift. It seems to make bad business sense too, because if the guy was up all night, you wouldn't want him around sensitive electronic parts. You would think they would note that the after hours is available sometime, rather then letting customers expect service from you that they will never get.

Anyways, the owner was rude and short with me and told me she was going to do absolutely nothing for me. Well, I can tell you we will absolutely never use Island Air ever again, and we will tell everyone we know to avoid them as well!

A friend of mine recommended Island Air Conditioning. The office staff was very friendly on the phone. Thechnician was professional. Larry was very knowedgeable about what needed to be done and did a great job.He was kind enough to take the time to explain everything and gave me tips on how to have my unit run at the maximum efficiency. I would highly
recommended !
