Island Air Conditioning

Such a great experience. I was referred by a neighbor as I needed a new AC company. I like family owned. My phone call was answered quickly, my service appointment was scheduled quickly, and the technicians were prompt. My service was fantastic. The technician explained everything to me, and I am so happy I have Island Air.

Wow!! What a great company. After a disappointing experience with another a/c repair service, we contacted Island Air. The owner, Elizabeth, was kind enough to give me a ballpark price over the phone, which no other company was willing to do. She also told me that if my unit needed additional refrigerant, she would send somebody over immediately to add additional refrigerant, at no charge.
Tech came and determined that the unit was working, but we decided that this was the right time to change the unit.
The installers arrived, on time, and were very respectful of our home. The installation was great, and the technicians were terrific. There was no upselling, none! That's refreshing.
I highly recommend Island Air for their professionalism, and for their customer based business model.
P.S. A few days later, the fan noise was a bit loud for our senses. We called, they sent the tech, PJ, who made the necessary adjustments to our unit. It was a very pleasant transaction

I've been a customer for 4 years now. Since moving to Boca 8 years ago, this is my third AC company. The first two, I had constant issues with. And then I found Island Air 4 years ago. Since then, I wouldnt change a thing. Island Air has been awesome. They are extremely professional, responsive, always on-time, etc. My first experience with them was buying a brand new unit. Since then, it has been regular servicing every 6 months. Today is the first time I have had a "warranty" issue. Island Air replaced the capacitor no problem, for no charge since Im still under warranty. They did it with a smile on their face and didnt give me a hassle at all. Thank you to the Island Air team and Orlando (HVAC tech) who came out today!

The man they sent to give me a quote for a new install stood in my home bewildered as if he didn't know why he was there. I never got a quote. I contacted the office to discuss the unusual and bizarre situation, but Elizabeth just blew up at me because she didn't want to hear about it. My experience with Island Air was completely awful from start to finish.

Island Air was a pleasure to deal with. From proposal from Steve to their installation team, they were professional, concerned and service oriented. Office staff was super and reconfirmed install, and follow up appointment. Would definitely recommend using such a wonderful company.

I’ve been with Island air 15 years now, and being from Maine & having to deal with utilities and lots of things that can go wrong, IA helps out a lot. I’m also very prescriptive up on who I use and Island Air has always been good to me, and one of the workers I really like a lot his name is Stephen M and he’s wonderful!

From start to finish, from the initial call to the office (Kathy) and then having a technician show up the same day.
Roberto was amazing!!!
He was professional, on time, explained everything in terms that were clear, precise and honest regarding my aging A/C unit.
