Daniel with Cool Bear arrived on time. He was professional and courteous. He was on site to do a tune-up/maintenance on the AC unit. He flushed out the water, checked the unit inside and on the roof & cleaned the filter. He explained any applicable issues and answered any questions we had. Overall, very pleased with the service. Will definitely use Cool Bear for future tune-ups and maintenance.

Operations manager Mark was excellent. We had problems that no one else could figure out, so Mark came out personally, along with Dennis, and solved the problem.

Clinton, who did the consultation, was personable, knowledgable and accomodating. He helped me find the best unit for my house without breaking the bank!

Mackenzie & Joe worked their butts off to remove a disgusting hunk of junk in my attic, and climbed up and down a treacherous attic ladder from 1972, in 90 degree heat, for almost 12 hours to bring the unit into the attic and assemble it up there! They also installed the compressor and pad outside in the middle of a torrential downpour! They stayed to be sure the unit was working and draining properly. It was so nice to watch my thermostat drop from 90 to 83 in a matter of minutes! The A/C works great, they were professional and hard working, and they cleaned up all of the debris before leaving!

Cool Bear installed a new A/C unit at my elderly parent's apartment in southern Florida. Less than 2 years later, the unit stopped working. We were told a $1400 part and a full day of 2-3 people are needed. We have a 5 year warranty on the unit but only 1 year on the labor. We asked them to go ahead and get the part and schedule. 2 months later, still no word from Cool Bear. (They had left to NY for the summer). We called and were assured they would get the part directly from the manufacturer. Another month + and still no call from Cool Bear. I am trying to call them from work, and was ut on hold and then hung up on, called back, was put on hold without even a word. Now 7 minutes on hold. This company is a joke.

I've never left a review before, but I have to say, my experience using this company was amazing!! I needed a whole new AC unit, inside and out, and the 1st company I called tried to scam me out of money. I was referred to Cool Bear and I'm so happy I went that route. Not only was Barrington (the tech who did the diagnostic) completely professional, but he was also honest and straight forward. Andrew was a complete gem. On top of being professional, he was also very honest. The installers were amazing as well. They wasted no time getting the job done and when they were finished, Master was kind enough to show me everything that was done and how to use it. I can't say enough good things about this company. I will refer them to everyone! Thank you Cool Bear!!!

Every now and again you find that organization that stands behind its comittments, its work, without question and this is that company. We had moved into our new home and had to install 2 new HVAC units. Sales rep was terrific from the start. They installed 2 units, one was producing a ton of water, was not draining away from the house and wasnt cooling properly. Maintenance guy came and did not handle the water but got unit cooling again, changed thermostat but replaced with wrong brand amd asked me to call management re water issue. We literally installed a few days prior and was preparing myself for the worst. Cool Bear sent more guys out a couple of days later to handle the water, they then had another guy come same day to ensure the replacement thermostat was replaced again, like for like to that we had originally purchased. The sales rep was available to us in real time as the issues arose and got handled.

Things go wrong all the time, how we respond to them separates a 5 star review from 2 stars. Thanks for standing behind your customers, thanks for your comittment to customer satisfaction. Special thanks to J Robinson and D Russo. 1000% recommend these guys.

I installed an AC unit and it comes with three service maintenance. This is my second one. I learned so much with this 2nd service. Schammah, the technician was very professional, respectful and thorough. This was the first time that I was advised of what they do during a maintenance services, and I learned where my AC drain drip was located! I had no idea that was out there. I truly appreciated the knowledge!

We paid for a contract and that’s when service came to an abrupt halt. Not only did no one return my calls when promised, the technician never showed up. This was after I spent hours on the phone with them to get someone out here a third time to fix the same unit (which they installed 2 years prior). I’m considering the money paid for the service contract as a sunk cost and will look elsewhere for someone reliable.

I came back to add that I called back again and the customer service associate just hung up on me.

Great experience with the Cool Bear team. Found them via Costco. Appointment scheduling was same day. There were a few hiccups during installation causing the team to be here longer than expected. Their customer service is one of the best I have witnessed. They are incredibly responsive and are willing to go the extra mile to assure your satisfaction.

Workers knew what they were doing and kept busy. Very good installation and AC is working great.
