Universal Air & Heat

I purchased a service contract last year which came with two free tune ups. My first tune up was ok but one service listed in the ad was not performed. The tech stated he didn't have the equipment on his truck to do it. The tech also didn't really explain a part he recommended. I chalked it up to the pandemic with it's chaos and uncertainty but was a little leary that my next tune up might be the same.
Today Robert came out and I was very impressed. He explained everything he did, was efficient and fast. It really put my mind at ease and I will use them again.

I found Universal Air and Heat to be exceptional, for price and actual performance of installation. I might add, during the COVID-19 Pandemic when everything business, is not easy, or typical — Universal was exceptional.

There salesman Paul Perez came to my house the day I called (Saturday) to see my situation and estimate what will be necessary to restore Air Conditioning and Heat...referred to as a Split System. I was able to comfortably negotiate what was needed to give me a New Lasting System...with a ten year warranty.

With the holiday weekend and that Monday thrown-in, they assured me immediate installation on the following Tuesday. Personally I didn’t think they could possibly keep that schedule...as they were swamped with calls and a work-load already for the next couple of weeks.

Yet on that 4 o’clock day, the installation crew showed up to give me air conditioning. The two person crew consisted of very talented, extremely knowledgeable technicians, Janet and Marcy. They were upbeat, had all the necessary equipment, (i.e. air conditioner, heating unit assembly, with all attachments) a load of stuff from there truck that was needed to complete this huge very necessary, major installation. After 4-plus hours they completely had my Air Conditioner and Heater working beautifully...checking all elements off a very detailed (long list) of procedures. It’s now several days later and I couldn’t be more impressed, or happy with the equipment, brand, and installation by there knowledgeable Crew. I highly recommend Universal Air & Heat. I just moved to a new home and have had several service people in my home over a short period of time. The level of service I received from Steve something that is rare these days. Not only did he do an excellent job cleaning the vents, he was helpful with information on the A/C. He kind, courteous and very knowledgeable. I will not hesitate to call this company again or recommend them to anyone. A+.

All people in office and installment are very professional. Owner Mike called me and followed up. Dan in office was awesome. Any problem I mentioned was fixed. Install people Vladimir and his partner did a great job. Around my old AC has shrub. You couldn’t get there. Vladimir cleaned it and left breathing space around out side unit. I asked for permit. Because city is closed for inspection, one employee bring the copy of permits. I will recommend all my friends and family. I appreciate your helps. My installment was done within a week. Came out on new system and instead of honoring warranty and fixing problem tried to sell us something else. Stated cleaned line to find after they left AC system stopped cooling.beware of these people. they just try to sell extra stuff when they come out.

As a first time homeowner and not knowing who to call, it was comforting to feel in good hands while working with Universal Air and Heat. They drastically improved my original system by fixing areas where hot air from the attic was entering the ducts. Recreating the housing for my split system improved appearance and effectiveness due to the old box lacking a proper setup allowing it to grow mold; I’m a very allergy prone person so this improved my breathability. Not to mention the duct and coil cleaning, the antimicrobial paint , disinfectant sprayed in the system, and UV treatment. My AC should last longer now that it’s not working as hard to achieve a desired temperature and my allergies are already subsiding due to the spike in air quality.

I usually research companies thoroughly before I use them but I was in such a rush that I just saw this company and decided to book an appointment. I know that everyone has their individual experiences so here is mine. From start to finish everyone I encountered was professional. I made an appointment online and got a quick response via email. Set up my appointment and was told that they would be able to come between 1:30 pm and 6:00 pm. The technician, Anthony, called me 30 minutes before the appointment time frame and he was on time for 1:30 pm which was great! He was very professional and did his job which was very to the point and not drawn out which I appreciate because some workers do take their precious time. He was never pushy and did exactly what we needed him to do which was clean our air ducts/vents. Thank you for your prompt service Anthony and Natalie!

I purchased an yearly A/C maintenance contract and scheduled an appointment for a tune up. Two times they called less than 15 hours before the scheduled time to cancel, and two times they no showed. I have requested a refund. Let's see if I get that! Never provided a valid reason other than someone is not in your area. HORRIBLE!

From when I had them install my new A/c unit over 3 years ago, I was happy to receive a call checking in on my unit and offering an amazing annual contract deal. I didnt hesitate to jump on it and received my first service call a couple weeks back. I am now waiting to see if I will receive another call in 6 mths. The guys that came were very thorough and professional. They did an amazing job and explained a lot. Thank you
