I've setup a maintenance contract with them but it seems I always need to remind them of the existence of it. Additionally they now cancelled my appointment twice because something came in between.
This has to be the worst buisness out there!! They do not show if you need something fixed THEY put in! They Put in a brand new AC unit for us. And it has giving nothing but problems, plus already had to replace the coils are ONE YEAR!! and they are a "no show" each time to fix anything now! Then their Only tech. DJ is the WORST! walked in my house.(after not showing for 3 days) and said it was frozen and walked out, DROVE OFF! and I never heard back from this terrible Company!! RUN!! FAR!! and FAST!! from this company! NO One is helpful! Rochelle, DAN (aso called manager! Issac!! Mesie, Miracle, Nick!!) Shall I go on with ALL the peopleI have spoken with??! Terrible!! Now my floors are ruined!! BTW two weeks!! still no AC!! And still have not heard a WORD from them! And believe me!! I have called!
Universal showed up the next day and set up for mold remediation and temporary got my old AC running until they put new unit in. They were helpful in every way. Very trustworthy.
I bought my AC unit 2 years ago. 6 months ago the ducts fell off of the unit, they didn't install correctly. 800 to repair Now the fan broke. Under warranty 800 for labor. Do not use this company
Universal Air installed my Rheem two cycle high efficiency unit I burned out two fan motors in three years They charged me $850 each time even though the part was free under warranty The unit stopped working for the fourth time and a technician who spoke no English suggested I needed ten pounds of Freon to fix a small Freon leak I paid $6000 for the unit and over $2000 in repairs due to two fan motors and other miscellaneous repairs I called Harpers AC repair And Mr Harper realized the unit was installed as if it was a one cycle unit The fan was hard wired to run in high only This caused the fan motor to burn out twice and cause the unit to break down I paid for repairs cause Universal in property installed the unit I have called them 10 times the last three weeks to speak to Universal and have never received a call back I don’t believe they use technicians that are individually licensed They are using apprentices unsupervised DONT HIRE THESE GUYS William Winegar
Service with this company has been terrible so far. To begin with, the price on the ad is misleading. My mom was charged full price even though the contract states they collect 50% up front and the 50% after install. On Friday, one technician showed up for install, apparently his partner called out. We tried calling the company so they could send more help for the technician but no one ever answered the phone. We called 2 numbers we have. Their recording on the phone and ad/company claim they provide service 24hrs a day 7 days a week yet getting someone on the phone is nearly impossible. The install was supposed to continue Saturday and it was a no call no show. Eventually someone called after we sent an email claiming the technician quit. This would be understandable if someone called to let us know but instead had us waiting all day without being able to get a hold of anyone on the phone. They finally arrived today (Monday) 2 technicians including the guy that “quit” claiming he never quit. They are currently working, but at this point I am not hopeful that further service will be provided to us when needed. Should things change, I will update my review. A real company should be easy to contact and not chased around. We’ve now been waiting for a manager to call us since Saturday.
My AC went out at 2 am and I called for an appointment before 10 am. Danny put me on the schedule and got a tech out to my home by 11:30. Mike is an excellent technician and showed up early in my 11 - 2pm appointment window. I had cold air before noon.
I have been a Universal Air and Heat loyal customer for many years because they are reliable, professional and offer highly competitive, fair pricing. I purchased my AC system from them many years ago, and they offered the best price by more than $500 than any other company on a comparable 2 ton 16 SEER Rheem unit.
I love these guys, and have been recommending them to friends and family. for many years. They exceed my expectations EVERY TIME.
Josh came to clean the ducts for 3 condos and we ended changing on of the A/C. He took his time to explain everything to us find the best option for each situation. He did a great job at very competitive prices. And he did it quickly because we were going away. I would give him more stars if possible. Thanks for the great service!
The worst customer service experience. Came to my house 4 times and still not fixed. The dispatchers are rude and there is not customer service called them 25 times in one week and still no answer to my question please never use them at all.
I purchased new ac unit on 9/24/2022 $6200.00 and on 11/10/2022 I noticed it didn’t have a air filter. I called to schedule a service call appointment for technician to come. On 11/12/2022 technician also seen no air filter. Told me this is a complicated unit. I will have to wait til Tuesday 11/15/2022 for them to decide what to do and call me.I think they be in the wrong unit should be a 2 ton and they be in a 3 ton. When you ask for management they put you on hold and don’t come back. I hope I can resolve this issue. Help!!!!!
