Del-Air Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electrical

Generally Del-Air provides excellent services, however; my air conditioning system needs a type of filter that is not easy to find, and Del-Ail, from the very beginning, provides the filter. It seems to me that depending on who schedules the maintenance appointment, many times the filter is left behind and I have to be reminding them to drop it at my house after maintenance has been done.

Pros: Was able to come out same day, had the parts to do repair same day.

Cons: Very high labor cost (>$800 for 1hr of labor), left some debris and marked up walls, stopped wearing shoe covers and brought in outside elements into my home.

Unit was leaking water. Instead of refilling the coolant the “tech” tried to suggest a $1200-$1300 repair. I called American Home Shield and they sent another company.

Their technician recognized the problem, refilled the coolant, cleaned out our outside drain, and verified everything was working in about 15-20 mins. The technician was from Beaches Heating and Air Conditioning.

Mohammed Touyfe was great! He was patient and explained everything he was doing. He told me what was to be done on the outside and what he was doing on the air handler in the garage. He was polite never rushing or dismissive because I was a woman. He is an awesome individual…. A Keeper! Everyone else after Mohammed did not do what they said they would. I paid for Freon (1lb.) that was not needed therefore should be refunded and I was told as much. In 2 weeks, my refund for the Freon has not been refunded. Michael Soto and Victor Bison has been non- responsive in returning my calls. The CSR Sarah, Kyra and Jodecia promised they’d call me back as well about the refund but has not done so. I did not have Freon put in my A/C So please refund my $138. My service was done on April 29th.

Kenneth and Afzal (trainee) were great technicians. They were friendly, informative and professional. They diagnosed the problem quickly and fix for it and also completed the maintenance. They wore shoes protectors and left everything clean - I would certainly recommend them and hope to see them on my next annual maintenance.

When we moved to Florida in 2019 our HVAC system in the new house needed to be replaced. We chose Del-Air for the install and have used them for all our HVAC including yearly maintenance since then. In Florida it’s important to have an HVAC company that you can trust and that gives timely service. Del-Air has met all of our requirements and expectations. Thank you Del-Air!

Tech, KC arrived promptly, performed a thorough maintenance on our system. He was knowledgeable, pleasant to talk to and very professional. He took pride on the work done.

problems problem and more problems, a new unit. the compressor was changed twice. the capasitor was changed two weeks ago and after that my unit was never the same now it only cools part of the house, the other part of the house It doesn't cool like before. Now they changed the air blower motor and it's still the same. I can't believe it. I've done all its maintenance and what the unit has done is give me problems. I'm not happy at all.
