This company is a rip off the elderly company. Convinced me I needed a hard start for my 6 year old AC because my compressor was supposedly working too hard. Found out after the fact that this hard start retails for $9.74. Charged me $275. And no, it took 2 minutes to install, and it was a routine 6 month service check so there was no service call. What a bunch of scam artists.

Our AC unit is less than a year old and is had major freon leak. The guy didn't have any detectors and would be back the next day. I called office at 3pm office didn't know. They call back and tell me a tech will be out at 6pm and put the leak detector in, it takes 24hrs before they will know anything and they can not put any freon in state law. The hse is 89 and we have an 85 yr old living with us. I asked for hotel rooms until it is fixed, nope was the answer. Now I had paid for a new unit less than a year old,we are making payments for the next 10yrs and that includes all service work. Their word and service means zero, I will be getting legal help. TERRIBLE COMPANY

I had a brand new HVAC system put in two years ago and have had to call for the thermostat to be replaced three times, the dryer "filter" replaced, a leak in the exterior system, a tripped breaker due to the compressor and now a busted compressor. The worst part of course is living in Florida heat. The system is under warranty, but that does not cover pain and literal suffering in an 82 + temperature in the house due to no air. I called yesterday for a worker to come to the house (Thursday). The air tech, Leroy, called to tell me he was on his way to Spring Hill and there was no way he could report Thursday night (I called around 5:30 pm). He told me he thought it was the compressor based on what I described to him over the phone. I called first thing Friday morning to request service. The time frame given was 2-4 pm. I told the representative that Leroy the air tech believed it to be the compressor and to pass that on to the new air tech assigned to come out. At 4:30 I called to ask if anyone was coming. They told me they would check and call me back. No call back , but the air tech showed up around 5:50 p.m. He confirmed it was the compressor, but now there was no one in the office so the earliest they could check for the part (or even order if it necessary) would be Monday. So no air Thursday and possibly through the next week! This is ridiculous for a basically new system. Perhaps I should check for a possible Lemon Law application here. This is crazy! The warranty does not cover a hotel!

I gave this company only one star because Zero was unavailable.
They are terrible
Sent three guys three straight days to see why a/c did not work.They charged me for nothing.So I called owner ....what a pro??? ...A total joke...as he actually screamed at me about how many hours his three no clue crew spent doing nothing and knowing nothing!

Try to fix yourself....as their folks know absolutely nothing
Do not let them take your money as they did mine.
Next day I called the real Pros at Baycare, those pros are terrific 😊

DO NOT USE NATIONAL. BEWARE SENIOR CITIZENS. Tech showed up at the house; after a hour he had no idea what was the problem. He started saying that the a/c system was old an needed a full replament (over $6,000) Little did he know the whole system was not even 2 years old. He insisted on a full replament but he was dissmissed. Another a/c company fixed the problem replacing only one part and at a fraction of the stimated cost.

AC issues misdiagnosed. Given a $1000 estimate for needed repairs. Two other AC contractors found nothing National listed was needed! Guess what Leroy.. just because I'm an old woman doesn't make me a fool. I would recommend a different contractor. UPDATE: I see you response which is unacceptable. The unit was covered by warranty so no charge was to be made for the part. Confirmed with manufacturer. ALSO:
The "suggestions" made by your company were laughed at by 2 other contractors. So I have ZEO confidence in your technician or his scruples.
I now get one call a week from your rep asking to schedule maintenance that's already paid for. I would not trust it would be performed properly... I am not the only disappointed customer you have... Sorry.

I'm over the moon happy!!!

My air was on its last leg, so I decided to call for estimates. Cash is king right now and don't have a lot of it to blow on a mistake...

Along comes Sean. He was great. He listened to my concerns and my financial needs, as well as my health needs, and had the perfect solution.

Sean put me into a new program that allowed me to pay monthly for a new unit, with no money down, and a full maintenance package with it. I don't have to TOUCH my AC for TEN YEARS and I'll ALWAYS have cold air!!!

Then along came the installation team. Errol and Mike did an AMAZING job of switching out my unit in about 6 hours with NO interruption to my daily routine. TRUELY professionals.

Don't believe me?!? CALL ME AND ILL SWEAR IT RIGHT TO YOU ON THE PHONE!!! Best upgrade experience of my life.

AC went out late last night. Was 82 in the house when we went to bed.
Called this morning and within 30 minutes they were here to check it out find the problem and fix it. Can’t ask for better service than that, not to mention the part that was needed for repair was on the truck and ready to install.
So probably 30 minutes later my AC was back up and working! Repair guy was so nice and handled everything with no problem.
Thanks National Heating and Air for another job well done. They know this system as they are also the ones that installed it and replace all my duct work a few years back.
AC being a pain call these guys and get it up and running again in no time.
