Very quick response same day on a weekend, technician was informative and overall great service

I needed an emergency line drain on my Air conditioning as water was leaking out of my unit. Ervin saved the day and was able to be there in approximately 2 hours to help drain the line and get my unit back up and running with no issues. We greatly appreciated their help and professionalism.

Harold and Susan were very responsive to a call for service on our home Air-conditioning unit suddenly not running cold, in Tampa Bay's hottest month in recorded history! We were happy to have a quick response and that parts were on hand for immediate dead motor replacement to get us running cold again. The two techs diagnosed and completed repair, at a reasonable cost, in just under an hour. We are very grateful for the honest, efficient, and professional service provided by Ervin Air!

Wow...I wish that I could find a car mechanic with the same mentality as Harold.

Two other AC contractors came in and told us that we had to replace our unit, ~$6500.

Harold came by, replaced the start capacitor and we were back up and running in 30 minutes for $260; he said that it was visually OK, but most certainly did NOT need to be replaced.

Oh, and they left their 23rd anniversary dinner to come do this, without hesitation...WONDERFUL!

Harold and his team are amazing! They got out to my condo the same day my AC went out. They gave me a thorough recommendation and quote for what I needed. (Which was a new AC system.) Harold (the owner) answered all my questions himself and also came with two of his crew members to do the installation. They were able to install a brand new unit within 48 hours of me first calling them! They are professional, fairly priced, honest, responsive, organized, communicative and fast! Don’t waste your time with other companies! You will get quality work and personal attention with Ervin Air. I will recommend them to all of my friends!

AVOID!! I have used Ervin air a couple of times for two separate homes. Each time there were still problems after they did their work. Very expensive for the quality of work you get. Charged $84 for a service call, then $80 more for a $15.00 part. Was also told ac was low on freon, charged $280 for less than 1 lb.... said there might be a leak but it looked like rain was coming, he'd be back tomorrow... never called, never showed. I should have never called them back. but I had a compressor go bad, he had a fair price to replace it, how hard could that be.... well they screwed that up royally. sold and installed an undersized compressor. I wasn't aware of it till well after the fact.The house will still not cool below 85 degrees.. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances EVER! Everything they touch you will be overcharged for or they will just screw it up. They have little diagnostic ability at all and act as if they don't care what you think about it either. Run from these guys. They represent all the worst of Florida's notorious shade tree service industry.

These guys are amazing. Quality company with quality service and great people.I don’t recommend a lot of companies but I would definitely recommend them.
