Got my ac repaired by Airflow a month ago and yesterday, strange sounds and smells are coming from the unit.

Called the emergency line to pre-emptively assess the issue (ac repairs are ridiculously priced) and was told that someone will be visting late into the night at a premium

1:29 am, they have my contact info,

No call.

No visit.

This is completely unacceptable. Fix this, I've spent over three thousand dollars in ac repairs over the last two years, and the scheduling team is pervasively incompetent.

I recently had Airflow do an annual check on my home air conditioner. They did the initial install on my new home 5 yrs. ago. I also had them do an annual last year. This year the technician indicated that the capacitor was reading low and will require replacement at sometime. Either today with no additional service call or later when it fails with service call charge. I told the technician to go ahead. The cost of the part was $206.00. I later found that I can buy the part at any home repair store for around $20.00 and it is user replaceable. That a 900% plus parts markup. Beware!

Air Flow will not stand behind the products they sell. Air Flow sold me Goodman AC which was defective and which, unbeknownst to me, did not properly control humidity within the house despite the AC being brand new. My newly installed bamboo floors began to ripple and expand throughout the house. I finally guessed it could be AC related, so I called Air Flow. When I specifically asked the technician if the humidity (between 76-81%) was a problem, he said he didn't know and recommended I get a dehumidifier. At my insistence, he elevated the issue and after multiple part repairs later, the humidity is now between 55-60%. However, in trying to get reimbursement for my damaged floors, Air Flow directed me to talk directly to Goodman as, according to them, they are only installers and did not manufacture the product. Air Flow did talk to Goodman and they seemed willing, at first, to offer some reimbursement, but then reversed course and said any property damage is not covered by their limited liability warranty. So, after two months of dealing with Air Flow and Goodman, their answer is that property damage is not covered under warranty and that I should contact my homeowners insurance for reimbursement. I contacted my insurance company, but humidity is not a "covered peril." After again speaking to Air Flow and explaining the thousands of dollars I spent on their system caused me thousands of dollars more in damage, they absolved themselves completely of any responsibility for the products they sell. As they have a direct financial interest in the products they sell, any company that will not stand behind their products is not interested in the consumer and should be avoided.

The fact the I called after not having anyone set an appointment to service my unit and revived bad attitudes and rude responses from Ashley and Austin and never but manager on the phone. I purchased a service plan and never received the service I paid for…BEWARE

Amazing customer service with amazing turnaround time. Within 15 minutes of submitting a form online (well after usual business hours) I received a call from Amber, who is literally a god send. She was super friendly and helpful. Understood my problem immediately and gave me multiple options to seek resolution. Will definitely continue to use this company for all of my AC needs.

Awesome company! The receptionist is polite and helpful, and all the Air Flow Designs staff takes care of business the right way - they are properly licensed and trained in everything they do. Just had a whole new system installed. They gave a VERY competitive deal. The salesperson was available to immediately assist with multiple questions and concerns I had the night before installation and all day during the installation process. The office people were also very accomodating with another request I had. I really felt that going with this smaller company led to me receiving great service. The installers seemed very knowledgable and organized, and concientious! After install, the cleanup was great. Overall, I think I got a great product at a great price :)

Update: Compared with some other quotes I received, this gentleman assessed what I needed and didn't even mention things like needing a new concrete pad or sealing the ductwork. These are things that I already have (in good shape) - while others said I'd need them in order to pass inspections. So, honest too!

The staff are detailed, responsive and quick to deliver on solutions. I cannot stand HVAC problems and worse being over charged for minor repairs. Air Flow is fair and isn't about ripping people off but customer service!
