I google A/C companies in my area and picked the one with the best reviews. I expected to wait a few hours for a response or service call. However, I called Airman Heating and Cooling. Paulet picked up immediately. Not only was she very positive for a Monday but she also seemed sincerely concerned on how she could help me. Within a few minutes Paula had someone in route to my home. Darrel showed up promptly and was very Professional. He didn't beat around the bush and was very honest with me about the condition of my system and what was going on with it. When it was all said and done, he had my system up and running within a couple of hours of making the initial call. I recommend this company to anyone looking for professional, honest, and reliable service. Extremely pleased and Satisfied!!!
When we purchased our condo in Florida in 2019, Airman had already recently installed a new A/C unit. So we had to switch the warranty with the manufacturer over to us, and Airman was so very helpful as the middleman with that whole process. Then, when we needed a repair which was covered by warranty, Darrel was on top of it. Even though the part couldn't be shipped for several weeks, he made sure we had a replacement part to hold us over. Airman also does our scheduled maintenance, and they will NOT try to sell you things you don't really need! They're very attentive and they respond when they say they will. We can't say enough good things about them, especially in this day and age when most companies can't even bother to call you back. You will not regret hiring Airman for your A/C needs!
I have been using Airman Heating & Cooling for about 12 years and they are by far the best company in the Cape. They replaced my old system and installed a new one at a very good price about 5 years ago. I get an annual check-up every year, off season of course. Yesterday morning I woke up to warm air blowing out of the vents. I called Airman and someone came out 3 hours later, diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. He came here this morning at 8:25 and after a couple of hours, my air is working and actually better than it was. I really appreciate that they are so truthful and have never tried to rip me off or do work that is not necessary. It was my husband that found this company. He passed away 10 years ago, so they know I am a widow and have never tried to take advantage of the situation. They are the nicest people you'd ever want to meet and are extremely competent in what they do. They have been doing this for many years so they know how the older systems work as well as the new ones.
Our AC stopped working while we were on vacation. I called Airman H&C and a technician was sent out the same day. It was a simple matter of clogged filters and not an extensive issue. The technician was upfront and honest and did NOT try to upsell me anything or exaggerate the problem. Very appreciative of their work and ethics. We will definitely call them again should anything go wrong.
Somehow, my original Review disappeared from here while I was doing an update, following the City Inspection today. Now I'm having to write a new one! But ya know what? This doesn't bother me just because of the TREMENDOUS work done by AirMan. I normally don't write Reviews....muchless, rewrite one that somehow vanished!! In this case with AirMan, I make a big exception. I have a HUGE DISTRUST in "Contractors" here in SWFL. I can't say that with AirMan. Last month my AC started giving me problems and unfortunately it was on a Saturday. So, I'm thinking, here we go....Weekend Service Call pricing IF they could even make it at such short notice. Paulette at the office first off, was and is not only one of the friendliest people on the Planet, she's also extremely knowledgeable about everything AC related. She informed me that Darrel, also another one of the friendliest people on the Planet, PLUS HE'S THE OWNER.....THERE AREN'T TOO MANY OWNERS OUT IN THE FIELD IN THIS LINE OF WORK......should be at my house by noon and she would call when he was about 30 minutes away. She called and they were actually EARLY! I've used AirMan for roughly 4 or 5 years and they have ALWAYS been extremely friendly, they've done great work,, always prompt and ALWAYS at a FAIR PRICE. This time, the news wasn't good....my system was on it's last leg. Darrel did everything he could to try to keep it running and informed me that the repair may only last a day or maybe a week at the longest....it lasted 3 days. 1st thing Tuesday morning, I called AirMan and informed Paulette it had bitten the dust. Within a couple of hours, Darrel was at my house installing, AT NO CHARGE, Window Units to help keep us cool until he could get a system. Here's where it gets really good. There was only 1 SYSTEM MY SIZE IN SWFL....In Pt. Charlotte. It was, I believe, the top of the RUUD line. However, with Darrel being what's called a "Pro Partner" with RUUD, he got the system ahead of other Contractors trying to get it. With Cape Coral being backlogged with Permits, they were allowed to apply for the Permits, go ahead and do the work since AC is a necessity. Less than 48 hours later, Thursday morning at 7:15, Darrel and his 2nd Technician arrived at my house to remove my DEAD SYSTEM and by noon the next day, my new system was installed and working brilliantly. Darrel gave me a price when he came to do the original work on Saturday and I was extremely impressed by the price. I was expecting, at least, a couple THOUSAND DOLLARS MORE! The ONLY discount AirMan gave me was the Saturday Service Call. They applied that charge towards the cost of the new system. I was shocked by that wonderful gesture. Trust me when I say, I've been around a long time, used a lot of Contractors in my DECADES and nobody has ever done anything like that before, when something broke down and they had previously worked on what was failing. Now, in finishing up my long Review. Cape Corals Inspector came today to either pass or fail my system. I was editing my previous Review to add this part when my 1st Review vanished! The Inspector came in, checked the Install from the Attic, the new system in my Garage, to the Electrical Panel and then the outside work. He came back in the Garage and said, AND I QUOTE: "I can tell Darrel did this job. He's, in my opinion, probably one of the BEST, if not THE BEST in the Cape area." What an awesome thing to hear from someone who inspects who knows how many installations a day. It truly does give me a huge peace of mind. Do yourself a BIG FAVOR. If you live in the Cape, don't waste your time calling different companies for your AC needs. AirMan, in my opinion, is the best. THANK YOU SO MUCH Paulette, Darrel and your staff, for not only doing a terrific job installing our new AC, THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT SERVICE OVER THE YEARS!!
Very glad I got that warranty! My AC unit outside started to make a very loud buzzing noise and was bothering (understandably!) the neighbors. Called Airman to come take a look and once again they were so quick to respond to my call. My unit was leaking and needed a new part. The cost of the repair was more than I spent on the warranty! Cost to me? $0. Get the warranty. You'll be glad you did.

This is the best company I have found. I've been through liars, cheaters, and scammers trying to find a good AC company. Airman Heating and Cooling was the first company I felt completely comfortable with. Paulette is a pleasure to speak to. You feel like family and not a customer on a conveyer belt at checkout. They even answered questions on an install they weren't even doing (wish you guys serviced Naples!)
My old AC gave no notice and quit in the middle of summer! I spoke to quite a few AC companies and just speaking with Paulette I knew they were the one. They came so fast to install a new AC. No one else could make it for 2 weeks. The guys that came to install were so nice and courteous. If I had a question they had no problem answering with a smile. They protected my floors, made no mess, and cleaned up everything after they were done. They handled my warranty and financing so the whole process was painless. Inspection passed in less than 10 minutes. The difference in my electrical bill is pretty much covering the AC payments.
If you don't want to be scammed, lied to, or cheated and you want to feel like family with warm smiles and wonderful customer service, use Airman. I can't recommend them enough.
All I have to say is wow! He was here over two hours replaced a few items because we live in an older house though our unit is only six years old and I thought for sure the bill was going to be astronomical but I was shocked when he gave me the final amount (thrilled) my sister in brother-in-law have been using air man for years and they recommended them to us… This company does not gouge you does not replace or suggest things that are not needed they are beyond reasonable I will say it again they are beyond reasonable …… absolutely blown away and my wallet is happy too - thank you guys so much we will be calling you once summer begins just to make sure everything‘s running smoothly still!!!!
