This past May we Shopped around for new unit installer. Friendly A/C Owner came to the house himself almost immediately
and without charge. He was honest and practical in replacing an old 3 ton Carrier unit. He delivered installed as described and on time with no hidden fees or issues and initiated a refund for additional work that we agreed on , but could not complete do to house parameters that neither one of use new about. Unit works perfectly, never an issue.

Flash forward till today, Friday August 26th at 5:30PM.. (well within the 6 month recommended maintenance) I noticed the line clogged and water was backing up. Called Friendly A/C, they were here within the hour and cleared the line. No charge.

This company is above and beyond. I highly recommend.

SIMPLY THE BEST!

Despite having fairly new central A/C units, I was unable to cool my home to a comfortable temperature.

I called a number of companies, and the response was the same - there was nothing that could be done!

A friend recommended I call Friendly AC. Having resigned myself that there wasn't a viable answer I called anyway.

Within 24 hours they arrived and assessed the problem. After a brief discussion, they proposed installing a mini split AC unit.

The location I chose (on the 2nd floor) presented challenges but Friendly assured me they could install the unit properly.

I received a proposal the next day and after some discussion, I authorized them to proceed.

They arrived to 2 days later install the unit and I am still amazed at the comfort level of my home but more so with the workmanship, cleanliness and professionalism of the entire crew.

I would recommend them without any hesitation to anyone needing A/C work.

They are simply the best A/C company I ever had dealings with.

Aug 4, 2022. I am editing my review due to further developments. In Feb 2022 Friendly A/C installed a new AC unit to replace my old unit which had stopped working.
They did an excellent job. But weeks later a Manufacturer's defect was discovered and the coolant was leaking very, very slowly. During the past 6 months, Friendly has been the most cooperative, reliable, responsive company a customer could hope for. They dealt with the Manufacturer's Rep and got us a replacement brand new unit. They recharged our system 3 times so that the defective unit worked until the replacement unit arrived. Yesterday they spent 3.5 hours replacing the unit. All in all, they were at my apartment about 6 additional hours once the unit was found to be defective and they didn't charge me one cent.
A good company does a quick reliable installation. A GREAT company handles problems that arise in a professional manner with minimal impact on the customer. Friendly is a GREAT company.

First time calling. Gave me 1-3pm window next day. Which was great. That’s what the 1 star is for.
At 3 I called to get an eta. They said they would call back. 15mins later they called to let me know going to take another hour.
I asked if they would give some kind of discount on the diagnosis fee because I waited at home and the tech was technically a no show, no call. That was a hard “no”. No courtesy call that they are running late, no fee adjustment because of the inconvenience, and never heard an apology that the tech is way behind (was even told that tech had 1 more stop before me).
Friendly, maybe, but not courteous
