Nicks Air Conditioning And Heating

Well my experience with this family owned company was disappointing. The owner came out and he was very dishonest and a scam. Which is not a good look for his sons name, since he named the company in honor of his son.

It turned out all my ac needed was a new thermostat and before he figured that out he changed what I believe was a capacitor. After changing the capacitor the ac still wasn’t working. He then put a old used thermostat on and the ac started working.

The thing is the old used thermostat stopped working after a couple of days. He did not tell me that he changed the thermostat, my roommate did, so he was being deceptive (he replaced it with one that looked similar ).

After I called him he came back out with a cheap thermostat, now that has also stopped working.

So I have to spend more money. And Idk if the capacitor that he replaced was good. That could’ve also been a used old piece of junk.

Can you work with someone you can’t trust?
Never again.

After having a HORRIBLE experience with a company named “ FRANK GAY SERVICES” ( and if you are one of their unhappy clients like me, you will know exactly how unprofessional and rude they are) I found this great, family oriented company to work with!!!!
From the owner ( Erick) which came himself to give me an estimate to the technician ( Mitch) who’s extremely knowledgeable, patient and polite I found myself extremely happy and satisfied with their services!!!! It’s a company that I can trust and they did everything in their power to work with me!

The owner was professional and courteous. Made the time to come out the very next day and got my AC up and running in mo time. His prices were extremely fair. I signed up for the annual maintenance plan after his visit. Well worth it.

Eric professionally evaluated and recommended an AC unit for me in a particular home I am working with in a real estate transaction. Eric was timely, trust worthy and clearly knowledgable in his field. I appreciate his honestly and hope to work with Nicks Air Conditioning and Heating again in the future.

I went through 3 other companies before I found Nick's. Technician Mitch showed up and immediately recognized the issue. He started working on time and did a great job. Another issue happened shortly after and Mitch followed up and ensured everything worked before moving on to the next job. Great service, thank you guys!

Had my blower motor go out. Wife called and Eric was very helpful and was able to diagnose our problem over the phone within minutes. Not saying this will happen everytime but in our case he was very knowledgable. He was able to handle the warranty and had a guy out within 14 hours as this happened the night before. I would recommend to anyone over and over and if I have any problems in the future I know who I'm going to call. Thanks also to mitch who came and replaced the broken part. Quick and efficient.

I can not praise Nicks Air Conditioning and heating enough. Stop reading reviews pick up the phone and hire this company. Very professional, friendly ,on time .GREAT prices. I had a brand new unit installed in one day. They even pulled the permits.

After a long 12 hour drive, I arrived at my vacation home in Orlando to NO AC! (not the best way to start vacation) Nick’s AC and Heating was quick to respond! Eric and Dan were very polite, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. I would recommend Nick’s AC and Heating to anyone!!
