They did a great job installing a new boiler and new central air conditioning for a large rowhome in DC. I would highly recommend their services if you are looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and local HVAC company. Their prices were very reasonable as well and I will plan on working with them again for future HVAC needs.

This company was able to obtain and provide a very difficult installation of an entire new system the same day at a very competitive price in a very confined area within an historic townhouse. Other companies claimed the required units were difficult to locate and were not eager to do the installation. They were most accommodating and neat and did a fine job.

The technicians were very friendly and took the time to explain the problem, what they did to fix it, and what I can do in the future to prevent future problems (without judgement!). They worked quickly and efficiently.

I needed a new boiler to be installed and everything about the process was excellent from the engineer to the technicians . Everything went very smoothly and quickly. I was given great advice, great options and a great price.. I would highly recommend this company and give it 5 out of 5 stars.

I'm very happy I called Polar Bear. This is the only company I would recommend for anybody who needs AC&Heating service. They are fast, knowledgeable and very professional! No hassle of you, call them and get the job done!

Overpriced, rude, inefficient, and do a poor job of installing ac/heat vent ducting. It was was a nightmare to get Joe and crew to finish the job. I have also had to call them out to repair their installation more than once. I would not use them if you can avoid it.

No heat and it was cold! Polar Bear came within hours and within the window they told me. The technician was helpful and very efficient. The whole process was quick and easy, including calling for an appointment.

This company installed a system that on the first summer after install the freon (so) was low. They came out filled it and said that happens the first year. A year later same issue. They come and charge me for the refill. I ask numerous times is something wrong. I have other homes andrefill about every other year or so. I call the next year and Joe says he won't service my home because I have an outstanding bill. This sounds ridiculous -
So another company finds out the install of the system had something improper and the freon is freezing at one the parts. Joe did not stand behind his product. I was upset because I refereed him two friends. One friend put in a new system as well. I would like him to return my call and fix the problem. Contacting him has been futile.

Polar came out to fix a broken A/C unit. They are prompt and got the job done but they are very expensive, specifically with parts mark-up at around 10 times cost which seems too excessive to me. They will also added a “travel charge" which they said is standard in the business but I have not seen this fee before when working with service techs. So they'll get the job done but get your wallet ready!

Can not express enough my appreciation for the service of the company.

I called and received almost immediate service and a fair price from a very respectable and professional individual.
