The technicians were excellent and did a great job checking my HVAC system for its annual maintenance; HOWEVER, I was quoted a rate of $135/hour plus a $20 trip fee. The person I spoke with on the phone (I believe he was the owner) estimated the job would take about 2 hours. I said, "So it will be about $300 dollars?" The person on the phone answered in the affirmative. The two technicians completed the work in about 1.5 hours. The technician presented me with a bill for $437.83. I was surprised to say the least. I called the main office to ask why it was so much higher and was told that I had to pay for two technicians. I had not been told there would be two technicians and that I would have to pay the hourly rate for both techs. The labor costs were $337.50 (2.5 hours at $135.00 for two techs.) I asked if there might be some adjustment and was told by the person on the phone that, "That's just the way it is." Absolutely no consideration of an adjustment. I wrote a check for $437.83. Again, the work that was performed was excellent - but I feel that I was misled and was not given complete information. Additionally, the two technicians worked for 1.3 hours, and I was billed for 2.5 hours. This was different than what I was told on the phone. Get a firm estimate before choosing to use this company.
