My father called Horizon to repair a leaking pipe from the kitchen sink to the main drain line below. For that repair, which was replacing the existing line about 12' pvc connected at most with a rubber coupling to the main, he was charged $2,000. He also needed the line from the bathtub to the main replaced , similar repair, about 8', also charged $2,000. He also asked about fixing the shower/bath plumbing valves and replacing the faucet/handles, another $2,000. After looking at the repairs the work looked decent but for$6,000? Seems expensive, like he was taken advantage of. Maybe I am wrong.

I was scheduled for a noon - 4 slot. Horizon called me first thing this morning to ask if I'd like a 1st call slot. That didn't work for me, but I appreciated the offer. I was called, again, 30 minutes before the plumber arrived. He was quick, had great communication and was a pleasure to deal with.
