We have used Amodio for the past 28 years. They replaced our boiler over 25 years ago and we are using them to replace our current one next week.we rely on them for auto delivery and they’ve never let us down, always on time! They offer a service contract and the two times we have had to call them, they were here within the hour. We trust them wholeheartedly and highly recommend them!!!

Amodio and Sons has been my heating fuel company for 36 years. I love their friendliness, reliability, competence and trustworthiness (not easy qualities to find in today's world,) It is a generationally run family business and they take their responsibility seriously.

I’m not sure what happened we’ve been with Amodio for a number of years they were highly recommended and frankly we were happy with them. This year I called to have our central air service like I do every year and they pawned us off to another company. That other company came out to services us. A week later we had problems with it. Last night it stopped working completely. We were told the entire system needs to be replaced both central air and most likely heating because it’s cheaper to do the two together. I have to wonder if we would’ve had this problem and if our air would be fine had Amodio continued to service us. Incidentally we were told they didn’t have enough workers to service people anymore. So don’t bother using them find someone else.

Amodio and Sons handled our oil to gas furnace conversion and the installation of a new central airconditioner system in April 2022.
Prior to the conversion we did get quotes from three other companies.
Amodio and Sons came highly recommended by a family member.
Amodio and Sons provided the best price as well as the best customer service Prior to signing a contract.
The General Manager, Mike Amodio, is very knowledgeable and professional. He answered all questions (we had a lot) thoroughly and patiently.
He provided outstanding customer service.

Amodio and Sons provided service for our old oil furnace in March 2022 at a reasonable price.
Amodio and Sons delivered enough oil to get us through the pre conversion period.
We did not purchase a service or oil delivery contract for the 2021-22 heating season because our oil furnace had been serviced in September 2021 and we did not expect any issues. Of course in March 2022 we had no heat .
Amodio and Sons provided service the same day we reported the problem and had our oil furnace up and running at a reasonable price.
In March 2022 we realized we would need oil, less than the 100 minimum all companies require. Amodio and Sons delivered enough oil to get us through the pre conversion period without a surcharge.
Amodio and Sons completed the conversion within the 2 day period quoted. All employees were courteous. We are very satisfied with the job.
After the job was completed, Mike Amodio continued to provide outstanding customer service,
he assisted with the on line registration of the furnace and airconditioner. Mike sincerely encouraged us to call the office with any questions or concerns after the job was completed.

Great company. Everyone is very kind and the owner really helped me out when I bought my house and created a payment plan for major work I needed done. I recommend them to everyone!

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with Amodio. I was hopeful they would stand behind their work and their word, but they did not. I paid $446 to have my furnace repaired and after a few weeks, I have no heat again. They won't come back out because they claim I owe $132. I was told by Vinny Sr. when he came to install the new part that they weren't going to charge me for the other service call that was only a few minutes. Not good customer service. I am happy to pay for a job that was done, which I did. To quote Vinny's son, "repairs don't last forever". I would expect a $446 furnace repair to last more than 3 weeks, or the repairman would come back to find out what the problem is.

Update: Vinny Sr. told me when he was here to replace the part, after the last guy spent hours looking at the boiler clueless and then just left and said someone else would call me, that I would not be charged for the first visit. I paid for the work that was done. I am not sure what the point of mentioning fixing a fuse in July 2020 is, that is irrelevant to the current issue. And for the record, I did not call someone else first back in July 2020, I called Amodio & Sons because they are the company who installed the boiler. Why are they lying on their response to my review and mentioning irrelevant things? This is a very strange way to handle customer complaints. I expected better from this company that has been in business for years, as they point out.

My family and I have been using Amodio & Sons for my oil delivery and furnace servicing for years. They've been consistently reliable, easy to work with, and beyond helpful in emergencies. They've always treated us like family. I highly recommend.

Great Family owned business you can trust. I've used Aodio for over 27yrs. for my oil delivery, maintenance and repairs. AMODIO installed two boilers at my home for a very reasonable price. Father and son business which we need more of in this country.
