I just had an hvac system installed. The manner of professionalism displayed throughout the entire process was exemplary. From Tom in sales to Cinda in the office through stellar
installation with Fred and Pat. Many thanks to everyone at Tyler for a great experience. I wholeheartedly recommend!

Tyler’s service is always on point, thanks Pat for a job well done today installing our new hot water heater. Office staff always super great. My only complaint is there were rebates listed on the website which I did not qualify for? You should be clearer about what qualifies.

Called Tyler first thing in the morning about a broken water heater and within 2 hours, they had a team at my house with a new heater ready for installation. Both Vincent and Fred were very professional and courteous and took great care to wear protective covering (masks, gloves, shoe coverings and floor coverings) while working. Highly recommend this company. Thank you Tyler team!

We had a poor experience going through the estimate process with this contractor. Their people are incompetent and their process is backwards. They sent out their sales guy Tom to assess the installation of a central air system. Tom recommended as part of the project we also replace the oil furnace with a new gas furnace. He gave us a quote for $20k after spending a couple of hours at the house reviewing the space and requirements. We accepted the proposal and proceeded with the application for a Smart-E loan which was approved. Tyler obtained permits for the job and we were just waiting for the utility to bring the gas line to the house. The next step in the process was to bring out their technician, Donny for the walkthrough prior to starting the work. Donny came over with Tom, spent 30-40 min tops at the house and two hours later came back to us with a revised proposal for $42K on the low end and $50k on the high end after rebates. Needless to say, we won’t be moving forward with this contractor and also don’t recommend them for big jobs like this, unless you like their bait and switch approach to doing business.
We would suggest to Tyler HVAC that they revise their process in the future and get the technician involved in the quoting process prior to submitting any proposals to their prospective clients, so they don’t waste anyone’s precious time with bogus quotes.

It's our first experience with them (our normal company was unavailable for weeks), so this is just the initial review. First, they were able to fit is in on short notice due to a cancellation the same day I called which is worth a star all by itself. Chris was polite and seemed thorough (comparing with the many previous service/cleaning appointments in the past). He was unable to recreate an ignition problem we occasionally had, but said that if the general service didn't resolve it (which it did) to just let them know and they would come back. I'm generally wary of heating/cooling companies so this was a pleasant start.

Just had a Carrier 16 SEER air conditioner along with a Carrier furnace installed yesterday 9-3-19. I couldn't be happier!! From the first phone call asking for someone to come out and give me an estimate to the final installation, everything went so well. Shane came out a day after I called to give me an estimate and after I decided to buy, he came back the very same day and we signed the contract. He was very thorough and detailed and explained everything really well. Customer service sells jobs!!!
Vinny and Fred came out a couple of days later and were very prompt to arrive first thing in the morning. They were both very courteous and kind. I took the day off and followed them around to observe the work. I am a very inquisitive person and like to watch people who know what they are doing and do it well and these guys are top notch!
They worked so hard, explained exactly what they were doing, and worked all day until the job was done without even taking a lunch break.
Whey the realized they did not have the correct furnace filter, they went out and bought one and brought it back to me. I just appreciate good, honest workers who care about what they do and do their jobs well.
I would HIGHLY recommend Tyler air and, I will surely spread the word to all my friends who are in need of an air conditioner or a furnace. Great job and great professional company to work with!!! Thank you Shane, Vinny and Fred and Cynda too!

Called and they came out the same day to service my a/c unit, which was not blowing cold air through the registers. Although they weren't able to resolve the problem the same day, the tech came out the next day as promised and resolved it. Really appreciate the prompt and professional service! Kudos to Chris the tech - was friendly, courteous, and helpful in providing maintenance tips and recommendations.

I called Tyler HVAC for a routine maintenance. Chris D. came over and was on time, super professional, and thorough! He answered my many questions patiently, and made me feel comfortable with the work that was required. Very trustworthy and honest! They are my new go to guys for any HVAC needs!

To follow up to my review: Vinny, Frank, and Jeff came out yesterday to install a new boiler, and aside from being professional, their work was outstanding, clean, neat, and their attention to detail was impressive. I really appreciate their patience as they took me through the ins and outs of my new system.

Sadly, my experience was negative with Tyler Heating. Every home owner looks for an honest company, that will provide high quality services at a fair price. I had hopes that this company could do that, but they fell short.

Also, every customer has the right to be treated and looked out for with the same priority, because heat during the winter months is very important to all home owners. We were left with no heat and trust me, on a cold winter night before a snowfall, it is far from ideal especially after paying someone to keep your furnace running.

Some advice:
1. If you have them come out, the technicians are kind and professional, but make sure you get all pricing on paper or via email for parts. No verbal pricing will do.

2 If they say anything like, "your furnace is older and I moved some things around, so it could have a problem", Make sure, you ask,
"Why what is wrong?" and have them explain what your furnace needs to work properly. Then get quotes for the parts and have them schedule the work.

3. If they offer a sales call, make sure they follow through. We never received a call from them after the maintenance work.. like they said they would, although they said they did.. We have plenty of space on our voicemail and had no record of their call. We had to push them to call us, which 2 + weeks later after the maintenance and no heat.. they finally did. However, at that stage we did not pursue a visit from a sales rep.

If Tyler Heating had offered parts pricing in writing, or followed through with a proper sales call soon after our maintenance was completed, this would have likely been a 4 or 5 star review and we would have not lost heat. They could have installed a new furnace or replaced the two parts that cost $65.00 Retail, which now make our furnace run perfectly.

When you pay hundreds of dollars to a company for service for your furnace, you should not be left without heat.. period.

Tyler Heating was easy to reach when we had a problem with excessive condensation in our air conditioning system. They responded very qucikly and quickly scheduled a technician's visit. The technican came on time and quickly repaired the problem. He was very polite and professional. Highly recommend this business.
