Tom was excellent from start to finish and takes pride in his work. He converted my old oil boiler and hot water heater to a propane combi unit. I couldn't be happier with the end result and the attention to detail from start to finish. I highly recommend.

Read before hiring. I was referred to Comfort Solutions by a family friend and it has been the worst experience ever. First time home owner so I was eager to update my central air system. Tom was professional until the paperwork was complete, after that I was left with a half working unit. He assured me that he would come back the following day to finish the job and switch my thermostat for the one I paid for and either thing happened. I’ve left voicemail sent emails Tom or anyone at his LLC has returned my calls or responded to my emails. I would not recommend.

I've used Comfort Solutions for several years and they have been honest and fairly priced in their service. I had a tenant who needed air conditioning on their first week of my rental because the A/C broke down. Tom the owner was able to get one of his crew out very quickly and did a thorough assessment of the unit. There were multiple difficulties with the unit including a burnt out capacitor, thermostat trouble and other issues in the attic unit. It turned from a 1 man to a 2 man job and Tom,came out himself to assist in a timely fashion. Feedback on what will be needed in the future was honest and I believe accurate. I'm surprised by the previous reviews and I would recommend Comfort Solutions based on my two years of experience. A family member in Plainville has also had excellent service via this company and was who initially recommended me to them. Hope this helps.

Have yet to receive the thermostat I paid for when I call for an update he tells me manufacture still hasn’t updated and it’s been 3years. Like I said in my previous post once it’s installed kiss your money good bye.

I would highly recommend using Comfort Solutions Heating and Cooling. They cleaned out my Oil Furnace (Peerless) and changed all the filters. Mr. Diaz and his crew were punctual, professional and fair with their pricing. You will not have regrets using Comfort Solutions to care for your home heating system.

Several weeks ago my oil fired boiler started to leak..happy event at the height of the winter. My oil company sent a rep out to look at it and quote on a new boiler...now here is where the story gets interesting so pay attention...oil company tells me that the situation is dire and needs to be taken care of in a week or risk huge issues.
I called Tom Diaz who came out...looked at the boiler...gave me a no bs assessment of the problem and offered solutions. Situation is not dire...solution that best fits my needs is to switch to natural gas and save $$ by installing a high efficiency gas furnace. I end up with a new furnace water heater and AC unit for LESS than my oil company quoted for just the boiler replacement.
This is the second time I have used Comfort Solutions...I appreciate that Tom is an honest guy...his crew are craftsmen that left my basement cleaner than when they arrived..and they worked through two of the most challenging weather days that we have seen so far this year...satisfied customer in Wallingford

We had our furnace fail on us the other day. Called Tom at Comfort Solutions and he was at the house in a flash. He was able to get the furnace up and running in no time!! Extreemly knowledgeable and very professional!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ service all the way.

Three years now I am still dealing with his half ..... installation. This contractor cut nearly every corner and will not stand behind their work. I contacted the owner and he was willing to 'fix' his mistake at my expense.

-Incorrectly sized my A/C
-Voided warranties on the units due to improper installation
-Gas lines not sized to use
-Water discharge freezes durning winter due to where it was installed

He installed a 2 ton inside unit for my original 1 ton working unit out side. This caused the A/C not to be effective at all.
I have chosen not to use this company to fix the problem because when I contacted the owner he did come out but offered to fix his mistake by installing a new unit then over priced me by $1500 when I quoted the job out to multiple other contractors. Due to the fact the units were incorrectly sized I had to replace my working air conditioning unit.
Since then the lines have not held pressure because the lines were installed with an incorrect fitting and punctured the unit, instead of installing properly. This voided the manufactures warranty and the coil needed to be replaced and re-installed.
On top of everything else the drain for the water discharge continually freezes up durning the winter and should have no been set to drain outside but use an internal drain.

They replaced my furnace and water heater. They were in and out in a day and a half. Everything was clean the new unit has worked flawlessly for a year now. Expert quality service couldn't have asked for more.

Made an appointment to have my furnace serviced. Took the day off from work. Appointment was for the morning, when lunch time rolled around and he had still not shown up. I called and left a message after not getting an answer. Never called back. Wasted a day. Would not recommend.
