Jennings Oil and Propane

Jennings is a well run company and very professional. I have a boiler service contract with them and recently heard a strange sound from my boiler. I called them and they sent out a highly skilled service person that same morning. He diagnosed and replaced a controller that was failing. Just a smooth experience and we’ll run operation and my furnace is happy again. They work hard to earn your business.

Hat tip to the Jennings Oil team. This was one of the most well run projects we have seen. Our sales person did all of the legwork to spec out what we wanted, went to town hall for permits and the installation team came for two days to do their magic. We had both our original furnace and hot water tank replaced, with the systems in these photos. Our place was broom swept clean before they left and the old systems were hauled off, we did not have to remind them of anything. Post installation they came onsite and verified everything was working well.

Their Service Manager Dave Westerfield and his team were amazing, professional and thorough. A true team who take pride in their workmanship.

Learned 2 important lessons after one year with Jennings.

1) don't ever prepaid for oil, cost me having to pay hundreds if not thousands of dollars more. Entirely my decision on this one, lesson learned. Not the cause for this 1 star review.

2)Don't place too much faith in one company, always pay close attention after furnace service, I didn't and paid dearly (thousands of dollars) for that mistake. Not the cause for this 1 star review, either.

I'm no furnace professional but somehow Dave from Jennings Service dept thought I should be. When I raised the issues I had with the furnace after the whole journey, he said I should've heard that furnace wasn't burning properly. Heard? How? If I do know how to spot the issue just simply by hearing how the oil is being burn, what do I need Jennings for?

Not saying my over-spending is definitively Jennings fault, but I do strongly feel it could've been prevented, and they could improve their customer service attitude a bit. Perhaps not too condescending when talking to a home owner, who knows pretty much nothing about oil furnace. This is the reason for 1 star review and none renewal of my service contract with Jennings going forward.

In all of my years dealing with oil and propane companies, this company is the best of the best! The owners will actually reach out to their customers and provide the best customer service. I am big on customer service and I have had nothing but great experiences. I feel that they care about me and not the wallet. When I had a question about my invoice and I left a message, I was contacted within hours by the owners. Just incredible! The employees at Jennings have all been superior. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else but Jennings. When I was in a pinch and needed oil, they were there. With all of the competition out there and the companies that I have dealt with in the industry, they are top notch! I highly recommend Jennings for all of your needs.

Great service! They came out within an hour on Memorial Day Sunday and fixed the issue!

Total professional experience, from initial and follow-up sales discussions with Eric, to the installation with Brandon and Clayton. I'd been researching oil boilers, indirect water heaters and related gear to replace our aging system for quite some time, as well as area installers with top reputations. We are thrilled with our decision to go with Jennings. Fair and clear pricing, inspired insights on equipment configuration and above-and-beyond on dealing with warranty claim for existing indirect water heater. During our town's required building inspector review, the inspector was clearly impressed and stated "wow, that's a fabulous installation". We have already strongly recommended them to friends.

I've used Jennings now twice for upgrades of heating/hot water storage equipment and both times I've been impressed. Working with Eric as a point-person for sales is a breeze and there is never pressure and feel you're getting an honest opinion on what is "best" for the situation. The service/installation crew are great and feel they took their time both times to ensure a clean and proper install that others do nothing but compliment. We will certainly remain customers!

I contacted Jennings to install a second 330-gallon oil tank at my house. They responded very quickly and professionally. This is a great company with great customer service and attention to detail. Eric (Sales & Installation Manager) was great as well as the team sent to do the contracted work. I highly recommend Jennings and am considering switching to them for oil delivery and system maintenance once my contract with my current expires.

Jennings Oil is a great company with wonderful professional employees. I was in the market for a new oil service provider after having terrible experience with Standard Oil. Earlier this year, I called Jennings Oi and l spoke with a gentleman who explained the various service options and explained why he would not recommend a service I had with my current company. His explanation confirmed what I believed. That one particular service was not necessary. I later found out he was one of the owners. When I decided to replace my old oil tank, I met with several companies including Jennings. Eric Olsen was very thorough. After taking measurements, he presented options explaining the pros and cons for each. He addressed my biggest concern, which was removing the tank in one piece. Their pricing was very competitive and made my decision to use Jennings easy. The installation team was excellent and removed the tank in one piece!!! They were very professional and left my home exactly how they found it. I expected a big mess and there was none. I am extremely satisfied with the service I received from start to finish. Everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable and clearly understand the value of exceptional customer service. I would give them 10 stars if I could! I would highly recommend them.

Recently I had the good fortune to have Jennings Oil install my new furnace. I was impressed with the staff that completed the installation, and the care that Erich put into the planning and ordering of the appropriate materials. The responses and any adjustments required were handled promptly and successfully and all staff provided the same courteous service. I am pleased to also be
now ordering my fuel oil from Jennings with the same great service. I am very pleased.
