I had a specific question about our recent oil delivery. I was connected to Jessica who very politely and patiently addressed my problem. Her professionalism and again patience goes a long way in providing exceptional customer service. She is definitely an asset to the company. I have been a customer since 1976 and with people like Jessica I hope to continue on.

Used to be great when it was Dominick. Since they sold to Hop Energy, customer service is garbage. The website doesn’t work, no one ever answers the phone. All calls go to a call center somewhere, where “call volume is always high” , meaning they only have one person answering calls, so you sit on hold forever until you inevitable get disconnected.

I see the response from hop. That number goes to the same holding pattern that never gets answered. How about a real number???

We have been Dominick Fuel customers for years. They have been great. Sadly, they are now owned by HOP energy and the quality has gone down. In fact, we just received a letter post an air conditioning service, stating that the company had also serviced our hearing system during the visit and this wouldn’t need to come later to do so. The letter was an outright error/falsification as my husband as with the repair guy during the entire visit. I called to inform the company and they backpeddled, stated that there records didn’t show that, but didn’t apologize…..

I wrote the following review (below the dashed line) 7 years ago and have continued with Dominick to the present. I was worried when they sold their business to a larger company that the quality of customer service would decline. So far deliveries have been uneventful; we’ve had no maintenance or repair calls. Today I had a very positive phone call with one of their scheduling/billing representatives. We had a lot to cover and the call took quite a while. But she was patient, efficient, really good at explaining what we needed to do, and very nice. I know it’s been a challenge for all of us old customers to get used to the new owners and I really miss Dom, but the call today went a long way for me in accepting the new ownership.

I have been really happy with my heating/cooling company, Dominick Fuel. They have been doing the maintenance on my HVAC systems for about a year, and I purchased heating oil from them all winter. Whenever I call them, Mike is friendly and helpful and remembers me personally.

The other day Teddy came to do the annual check-up on the air-conditioning system, and did such a professional job. He was on time, respectful of me and my home, highly knowledgeable and very efficient. He located a problem with the system and thoroughly explained what was wrong, and what repairs were needed.

I will continue using Dominick Fuel and appreciate their great service!

I have been a loyal Dominick fuel customer since 1985. They have recently sold to HOP Energy.
I’m not happy with the new company. I was charged $148 for a diagnostic visit and travel time. That’s crazy. It’s still not fixed and no one’s calling to schedule a fix my split unit that D’s installed two years ago. That’s a $15,000 install that’s leaking thru the sheet rock. I spent waaay too much time on hold trying to speak with someone. No one got back to me.
I’m off to find a new oil supplier.
