Brad and Evan were on time, efficient, courteous, and kept us up to date on the install process. They also cleaned up after themselves.

Wow!!! I am very impressed by the heating and cooling system suggested by Jim and installed by John. The house is very comfortable and yet the thermostat is set much lower. I am very impressed with the quality of service and would definitely recommend American Air to anyone!

Amazing company, Clayton was a huge help

American Air installed a furnace and air conditioning unit. They pushed me to purchase an Electrostatic Air Filter which was costly and in hind sight I did not need(nobody with allergies in the household) -- my fault for going with the sales pitch, but I do not like pushy sales people.

The furnace began to leak when the air conditioner was running (pulling water out of the air but instead of it going down a drain pipe, it leaked into my basement under the carpet). When I had a furnace repairman come to my house to repair the problem, they showed clearly how American Air had not used correct piping to drain the water-- had just used a lot of glue/putty to rig it which eventually led to the major leaking.

I do not recommend American Air Conditioning - shoddy work in my house.

American Air Has always been very professional and willing to work with me. They replaced my air conditioning and furnace. They did excellent work.

I was contacting HVAC companies to replace my existing 20 year old 80% efficient single stage furnace and 10 SEER (AC efficiency rating) air conditioning compressor. I had a Denver HVAC company that does a lot of advertising come out and inspect my unit and quote me a same efficiency replacement furnace and 13 SEER air conditioner for $13.6K. They also quoted an 80% two stage furnace and 17 SEER AC unit for $21.5K. Ouch!
I talked to a friend who had replaced his furnace and AC unit 3 years earlier. He referred me to Jim at American Air HVAC in Windsor. Jim quoted me 8 different combinations of furnaces and AC units as well as heat pumps. I purchased a Lennox 98% efficient variable capacity furnace and a 20 SEER variable capacity heat pump for $16.7K. With the discounts and rebates available for installing this equipment, the final installed price was $11.5K. I got an American made, higher efficient furnace and heat pump for $10,000 less than the Denver HVAC company.
Jim went out of his way to get me the equipment I wanted and explained everything in detail. The installers, John and Scott were very professional in their work and answered all my questions concerning installation and operation. A 98% furnace installation in an existing home is difficult due the new PVC inlet and exhaust pipes to be installed to the outside of the house. John and Scott handled it as if it was routine.
I will recommend this company for any HVAC work that you require.
