Wow, what a great customer service experience and genuine care. They were willing to stay late until we could arrive to get some assistance on an A/C repair. They even had an installer on stand by in case he was needed. Overall, I would recommend American for any Heating or A/C needs! Thank you for getting us back up and running in the heat of summer!!!

I was smelling an odor similar to exhaust fumes in my basement and called American Heating & Air to help investigate. They were able to send someone over within a couple of hours and quickly diagnosed the issue. Further, they were professional and didn't charge an exorbitant amount for an emergency repair. I appreciate their flexibility in getting someone over to my home and will definitely use them for future services.

On the positive side, they did finally install a Mitsubishi mini split system after about 3 and a half months of delays. The system is required to be permitted by the city. Normally that permit would be issued at the time of completion of the installation. It has now been 8 weeks since installation and they seem incapable of negotiating the permit process. I have spoken at least 5-10 times with BJ or Chelsea to get the problem solved, and have been promised multiple times it would be resolved in a few days, and that they would call me back. They certainly have not resolved the permit problem, and with a couple of exceptions, they are unresponsive in terms of promised call backs. When you add the 5-10 calls to get the system installed and the broken promises of installation, with the 5-10 calls on the permit issue- still unresolved- if you hire American, at least based on my experience, be prepared for lengthy delays and broken promises of callbacks.
