We were in a bind and needed a ceiling fan replaced. Not only did the guy come put the next morning, he was early, and kind. We will definitely use Royal Electric in the future.
When my Carrier furnace gave out both the service tech and HVAC manager went above and beyond to get it fixed fast and right. They communicate well and provided great value.
Had a hard time finding a motor for my furnace! Found Royal they started the search keep me informed and found one that day! Ordered it was here in time before the cold and snow! The people in the office worked very well with me and good down home people!! I would recommend to anyone A++ 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲👍
They get it done. Had a boiler go out late night on a weekend, making us lose all hot water and heat in November. The first guy was slurring and smelled like a bar's back alley. He and his supervisor on the phone made great sounding promises but we didn't hear from them for four days. Four November days with no heat or hot water. The second guy who actually did the work bent over backwards to redeem the company. Got it done and done well in a couple of hours, including a parts run. Not particularly impressed overall, but they did get it done.
**Update to original review (below): I spoke with the owner of the company, who was very nice and apologized for my experience, which he attributed to having recently hired new staff. He promptly issued me a full refund. I have updated my score from one star to five, to reflect the owner’s responsiveness in fixing the problem.
I called Royal Electric to schedule a diagnostics appointment, in order to find and repair the location of a leak in my air conditioner. Instead, the technician arrived for an inspection, during which they charged $90 to inform me there was a leak, which I already knew. They told me I needed to schedule a second appointment for diagnostics, which I did. My wife took off work to be home for the appointment. However, the scheduler messed up again, and they didn’t arrive. We rescheduled AGAIN, and took off work AGAIN. More lost money. This time, Royal Electric charged us $130 to add coolant to our AC, while STILL failing to identify the location of the leak. Two days later, our AC was not working again. We called R Buck, who came right out, immediately found the leak, and fixed the problem. We were extremely impressed by R. Buck’s services. Meanwhile, for weeks now, I have been requesting a refund from Royal Electric, who charged me $220 to do absolutely nothing to fix our problem, which was clearly explained to them from the start. The receptionist has repeatedly told me he will call me back, only to fail to do so each time. I strongly recommend against using Royal Electric!
I called Royal in an effort to get someone out to look at our aging air conditioning unit fully expecting to wait some time with the current temperatures, however I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to get out that day. He ran full check and added coolant. This definitely made a difference in the temperature In the house. he also let me know that our system is old and may be winding down but we're up and running for now... thank you Mike!
Our great experience with Royal Electrical began with Paul, who came out to walk through all of the electrical projects we had on our list and provide us with a quote. Then Greg and DJ came out to do the work and do some additional troubleshooting for us on some wiring that will need repair. They did a great job, got all of the work we had identified done in a timely manner and just exactly the way we wanted it. They went above and beyond to understand what we were trying to accomplish and went about figuring out the best way to do the work. We will definitely be using Royal Electrical again and have already talked to them about the remaining projects we want to have done.
I had an issue with the ice maker on my refrigerator. The Tech ordered the replacement part and attempted to fix the problem which he failed at. Said he had to order another part and would come back to fix when the post arrives. 9 months pass and I have been calling and asking when my I've maker will be fixed. The Tech never came back to fix my fridge. Now the compressor is on the fritz I call black hills energy because I have a repair plan I pay extra for. They said they will send a tech out to look at the fridge. It's the same guy from 9 months earlier. He leaves and tells black hills my fridge is old and not worth the cost of repair. LG said they would ship a replacement compressor since it's under warranty. All that needs to be paid for is the labor. Royal electric still refused to install the party and would not give me a reason why and refused to let me talk to a supervisor. Been 2 weeks without a fridge and they still have not given me a reason why they didn't finish the repair 9 months ago or the recent attempt on the fridge. Customer service was very rude and disrespectful.
I am extremely satisfied with Royal Electrical services. Jason came to fix my heater yesterday evening, he completed the repair in a timely manner as he showed concern for my house temperature dropping with my 3 month old in the house. Jason definitely needs a raise, this was the second time he came to my house and he is extremely friendly and professional. THANK YOU JASON
