1st Choice Pro Services

I used 1st Choice to remove our old furnace and a/c units and replace them with new equipment. Phil was excellent in going over my choices, the benefits of each and selecting the proper brand and model for my home. The price was competitive and only slightly higher than bids we received on napkins from much less professional quotes we received.
The primary difference in the slightly lower costs from others was related to lower rated equipment.

Phil, Josh and one other fella installed the two new systems over two days. The installation looks perfect, they used drop cloths to protect my floors and overall were respectful of my home. The common "snag" type of things that come up during installation were handled the right way as opposed to cutting corners. For example, they could have manhandled the hot water heater that was in the way to save some time and possibly cause an issue. Instead, they drained, moved and then reinstalled the water heater. This gave a bit more room and prevented any damage.

Overall, we have had the new systems in place for 2 weeks now ands they work flawlessly. We are very happy with selecting 1st Choice for our replacement systems.

We had horrible sounds coming from under the house every time we used our water. We called 1st choice and they had David out within a day or two to diagnose the issue (water pressure too high from old regulator valve) and then he came back a few days later to replace the valves after the city had to come out and turn off our water. He was super knowledgeable and replaced the valves quickly. We only had the water off for about 2 hours max. Will definitely call them again with any future plumbing issues.

I called them out for a quote for a replacement furnace and new AC install. They showed up in the window they gave and looked at everything and told me they would have the quote ready in 24 hours. A week later still nothing from them. I call asking for the quote reminding them I already have other quotes and need theirs to finalize my decision. Agent who answered the call said the quote wasn't ready and would reach out to the tech. Took almost another week for them to get me the quote. 12 days total when they said it would take 24 hours.

The only positive thing was each person was polite. But the complete lack of professionalism and reliability displayed, and this was just getting me a quote, left me with no faith that this company would do a good job, meet the time frame, or be reliable/accountable for their work.

They had the best price and weren't over pitching me during the estimate. Gave multiple quotes as I was trying to save money. But the value of replacing my furnace was worth it. Got a quote for just ac install and full furnace replace. Ended up with new ac and new furnace and couldn't be happier. Very quick with their work and did a great job.

We have used 1st Choice Plumbing for our plumbing needs for many years. We have never been disappointed with the service and the price has always been fair. We will continue using and recommending this service for our plumbing needs.

Service today 7/29/2021 replace main shut of valve into the house. It turned out to be difficult, but it was handled professionally and works perfect.

We were able to get same day service close to a holiday, which is rare to find! The company is professional and friendly, and everyone we interacted with was genuinely focused on getting us the help we needed. Our technician, Phil, did a great job accurately deciphering and fixing our plumbing problem quickly and efficiently. He was honest with us about costs and clearly explained options, etc., and was very pleasant and professional.

I wholeheartedly recommend First Choice Plumbing and found them to be a trustworthy company with integrity. They're now our first choice for plumbing services.

Gas leak outside due to ground settling over 21 years. Utility (Black Hills Energy) turned off the gas at the meter. 1st Choice was the only plumber that would come the same day so that I could get BHE back out to turn the gas back on - so that I'll have heat and hot water in November.
Frank (tech) was available earlier than the scheduled time. He looked at the problem and quoted me a price. He ended up having to go out and return twice because of hard-to-find parts (weird size of black pipe).
Frank was able to complete the repair at 8:30 PM on a Friday night, for the original quoted price.
Called BHE and they had their tech out within 30 minutes to turn the meter back on (and re-light all of my appliances).

I'll definitely call 1st Choice Plumbing for future needs. And I'll specifically request Frank.

The technician was on time, thorough, explained the issues with my furnace and took pictures so I didn't have to go into the crawl space with him. He detailed several options without pressuring me. We set a time to replace the furnace and again, he and his coworker were on time, took measures to protect my flooring, and were great with my working from home and daughter doing online school. He took the time to show me everything in the crawl space, took pictures of the serial number on the unit so I could fill out the warranty info, helped me program the new thermostat and answered all of my questions. A fantastic experience over all. Will definitely use them again.

Phil did an amazing job fixing the sink/faucet that has had issues for many months. He is polite and his expertise is impressive. I highly recommend hiring 1st Choice and plan on using them for our future needs.
