I scheduled Swan for a heater inspection as it had been several years since it was looked at. Russell, the service tech, came out to inspect. He was very professional and friendly, and did not rush through the inspection. While overall the heater itself was fine, he did identify an issue preventing the furnace from operating at its optimal performance level due to an incomplete system installation (by another company). He was very knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain. I’ve used Swan in the past, and will continue to use.

Sean did a marvelous job, very professional and friendly. He got all our issues taken care of. Also, he showed me some of the routine maintenance for the water heater and humidifier that I can do.

We were referred to Swan Heating & Air by the previous home owner. Our inspector identified that the heater hadn't been installed correctly. A tube for condensation to be routed out was leaking everywhere, which caused an 'organic growth.' I called the company repeatedly asking them to take responsibility. They insisted they weren't at fault and started dodging my calls. We had to pay over $500 for mold removal & re-drywalling.

We foolishly had them come out again when we had water leak in our downstairs bathroom vent. We though this was an HVAC issue. It was a caulking issue. We paid $200 for him to recaulk and tighten a screw. We have the same water problem and I called to see if they'd take a look under warranty. The manager took a rude and unprofessional tone with me. This company evades responsibility and causes the consumer hundreds of dollars in additional repairs.

NEVER doing business with them again. Buyer beware.

Russell communicated that he was on his way, arrived promptly and well within the window the scheduler had given me, explained the process before starting, and explained the report at the end. Very thorough and professional. I requested with the scheduler that the tech wear a mask, and he did without me having to ask when he arrived (I also wore a mask while he was inside).

I contacted Swan yesterday about doing a furnace inspection and they sent Sean at 8 AM today. He opened Marty's furnace and inspected it for dangerous leaks in the fire box. There were none found but there was some chemical damage that was only light and not penetrating. There was no CO measurable. He found the blower motor showed a little oil but the leaking bearing was not yet damaged. He found the blower motor oil capacitor had lost capacity by 10 or 20%. Mike decided to replace the capacitor himself and got it done before writing this.. The Carrier model furnace that was manufactured 17 years ago has a reputation for chemicals etching away the fire box but a layer of silicon inside Marty's firebox protected it from damage. The special price offered for the inspection was $59. Considering the time to disassemble the blower and get to the firebox for inspection with a fiber optic camera this was a real bargain and he did an excellent job.

Swan installed a new furnace at my home in November of 2021. The installer’s drilled holes for the new air intake tubes and didn’t move or cover anything below where they drilled so it was covered in saw dust and wood shavings. They didn’t bother to clean it up either. A very unprofessional mess was left behind. A few months later I find my furnace is leaking water. They sent out a different tech to take a look. The inside was covered in “surface rust” from standing water because they forgot to tighten a seal on some tubing during the install. The tech tightened the seal and said it should stop leaking and rusting. So they left me with a brand new rusted furnace. That same week I scheduled an AC tune. The day before the appointment I called because the temperature was not going to be very warm but the woman assured me it would be fine. They called and canceled a few hours before the appointment because the tech called in sick and now they can’t get me on the schedule for another month. Would never recommend this company.
