we had Elkhorn out to repair a gas leak in our water heater connection & to install A/C in our home. in both instances they were prompt, professional, and delivered good quality work.

I had a bit of an emergency situation yesterday and called Elkhorn on the advice of my brother. I could not have been more impressed. Zack answered my call and was able to come over within a few hours. After assessing the problem, he came up with the best and most cost-effective solution for my situation and had heat restored within a couple of hours. I am so grateful for his quick response, knowledge and professionalism. I will definitely call Elkhorn for my future furnace needs.

We asked Elkhorn to bid on a large, complex job in our 100 year old home. We had a lovely first visit with them but after another visit, and numerous emails to follow up, they finally agreed to show us the estimate. The estimate did not reflect the project we actually intended to do, and would have to be totally redone. This after seven weeks had elapsed from the first meeting. With all confidence lost, we asked them not to redo the estimate.

Stupidly we did not look for other contractors as they came highly recommended. Our lesson in this is to read the reviews closely. Any vendor is only as good as their last job. A recommendation from a neighbor that is dated is not as good as an immediate review.

Outstanding pricing and quick installation on a new heating and AC system. Installation of new equipment was clean and very professional looking. Justin in sales did an excellent job of listening to my concerns with the old system and proposing a new system to improve heating and cooling comfort in my home. If it weren't for some contractual terms and conditions that left us uncomfortable, we might have chosen Elkhorn. In the end, we chose another HVAC contractor, but the decision was very close, due to Justin's professionalism and responsiveness.

I had an igniter go out on my furnace over the weekend. So I called Elkhorn based on a referral. I expected on a Sunday afternoon to get an answering service, but instead the phone was answered by the friendliest receptionist. After I explained the problem, she asked if I needed someone to come out immediately - again I was surprised that I wouldn't have to wait a few days. Since the weather was warm I could wait. She gave me a time window for Monday when the service technician would be over.

The scheduling assistant called us on Monday to let us know the technician could be early if that was convenient for us, otherwise the original timeframe worked. Early was fine so when the technician showed up, he was clean cut, professional, and courteous (he noticed we have hardwood floors so he put on booties over his shoes so as to not scratch the floors).

After confirming my diagnosis, he showed me the part that had worn out, replaced it and then ran a full system diagnosis. He explained that with a furnace our age there could be future problems to keep an eye out for.

He was in and out in less than an hour and the price was fair. It was obvious that even as a tech, he really cared about doing his work right and providing value to Elkhorn's customers, which from an hourly employee these days is tough to find.

I can highly recommend Elkhorn for their professionalism, caring and competent staff, and fair pricing.
