Exceptional service, courteous and responsive servicemen, and timely and professional installation. Over the past three days, Justin, Matt, Adam, and Ben installed a mini-split heating and conditioning system in two 3rd story bedrooms and in one 2nd story hallway with the primary system on a deck. They all demonstrated the technical skills to install the complex system and they worked efficiently and smoothly. Upon departure, they ensured that the rooms, the deck, and the garage were cleaned.

They installed mini split units and reconfigured our duct system for our furnace to only heat the basement. They saved us thousands by sharing an option other hvac companies didn't mention.

Wow! Very impressed that they came out and spent about 3 hours sizing the air conditioning system. Another company spent 20 min and just wanted to know our square footage. Five workers showed up (on time) and spent the day installing the system, doing the electrical, and explaining the system. The price was very close to the other companies selling Trane systems, but Elkhorn's installation is more professional. They even changed some inefficient ductwork causing the fan to work to hard. This will extend the life of our system. Very pleased.

My poor rating does not reflect the A/C system itself, the A/C works fine, it better, it’s brand new. When Elkhorn came over to do the estimate they told me it would be best to relocate the system to another side of the house for efficiency but that they would need to run new lines from the new location and in doing so would need to cut holes in our basement ceiling to run the lines. I was uncomfortable with this but in the end agreed after being told the holes in the ceiling would be minimal, 4-6 inches in size and that there would be 2-3 holes. So I specifically asked them to salvage the cutout pieces so I could replace them. One of the holes was 27 inches by 18 inches and the other was 8X11 inches. I called the guy who did the estimate explaining my disappointment asking if he remembered my request to which he did and he said “I’ll take care of it.” and he delivered all the broken pieces to my house. It was like putting together a puzzle. I had to hire someone to repair the holes at an extra cost to me.
I also checked the filter location to see what the filter size might’ve changed to and noticed they had put in an old used filter. This was a day and a half after the installation was completed and the filter was absolutely covered in dirt. No way a filter gets that dirty in a day and a half.
They also cut out a new cold air return in a wall but they didn’t clean up the drywall dust left in carpet or baseboards.
All in all it’s finished, cleared inspection and best of all it works.

They were easy to communicate with, very responsive and made sure that we knew how all of our new systems worked. They take pride in their work and care about their customers. They knew that with our old system my son's room would get really hot and had difficulty cooling. They took the time to follow up after the completion of our install to ensure that my son's room was cooling properly and reaching comfortable temperatures for him. Their team is professional and produces high quality work on all levels. We will definitely be using them again.
