We originally called because our furnace seemed excessively noisy. Like being in a wind tunnel noisy. We were sold on over $8,000 worth of work including new ductwork. Now our furnace is louder than it was before and there is an added bonus of loud banging duct work. The office has been unresponsive. I had to call three times just to get someone take a look. He spent an hour here and still the problem persists. I’m writing this review at 4 in the morning because the furnace just kicked on with a bang and woke me as I was soundly sleeping.

The installers put in a heat pump and a tankless water heater. The inspector said it passed with flying colors! It was a complicated job with lots of problem solving needed to do the duct work in my 1955 house. It did take longer than expected. My suggestion would be for the managers of the company to better communicate with the installers and the customers about scheduling as there were some mix ups that caused delays.

Elkhorn installed our HVAC system and I trust them to continue maintaining it. Price is very competitive and everyone has been professional.

I’ve never written a company review before but my recent experience with Elkhorn Heating & Air Conditioning left me no choice..they are outstanding! The recent cold snap messed with my heat pump and then today an unrelated issue came up that required emergency service. Front office was very understanding and responsive to my calls. Jesse came out both times to service the system where I found him very friendly, patient with my questions, offering tips and suggestions, and most importantly, fixed the problems with a great attitude. Elkhorn has earned my enthusiastic recommendation!

The technicians arrived in the window that they had promised me. They are very professional and very personable. Elkhorn, heating and cooling, put in our air conditioning in 2019 and have always serviced us with professionalism. I would use them over and over and over again.

Eric was very thorough and answered all my questions about the AC startup maintenance. I also asked about a new water heater. He gave me a flyer and told me about their summer special.

Our furnace went out on Feb 6th and they came and told us our blower went out suggested we needed a new furnace. The technician said he would call someone to come in a give us an estimate. Well, no return phone call on Monday or Tuesday morning so we finally called and had no record of anything being scheduled. They finally scheduled someone on Wednesday at 5pm. That mean we would have at least gone three days without any heat and we're in our mid 70s. We found a company to not only give us an estimate but installed our furnace for a much lower and on time. Beware of this company.

We contacted Elkhorn to discuss feasibility of installing a ductless mini split air conditioning system in our home. Anthony came out and did a very thorough job covering all the options and answering all of our questions. He put together a proposal and also called out electrician Mike who determined our ca. 1965 electrical service panel wasn’t up to snuff for 2022 and the needs for the mini split system. After we signed the contract & another pre-project visit from Anthony and Mike, the install team arrived on a Monday and they were all fantastic. Electricians Blake and Alton replaced the service panel while Brian and Dylan handled the mini split system install. Everyone was professional, friendly, happy to answer questions throughout the job…..and great representatives of Elkhorn. They wrapped up the job on Tuesday night and the work was top notch. We’re very happy with the results and would absolutely recommend Elkhorn to others.

I talked to Elkhorn at the Denver home show. The rep showed up to our house to look at the project, he did not seem very happy when I asked him to quote on a second thing the was ON the list from the home show.

When he finished on Friday March 10th he said he would work on the quote on Monday and send it Tues. Here it is 3 weeks later and I have yet to receive a quote or any communication from this company.
