The tenant of one of my rental homes called me saying the carbon monoxide detector had gone off and the fire dept and Atmos had turned the gas off to the home. The 1st (so-called) plumbing contractor I contacted came out and said the problem was the flu from the basement to the roof needed to be replaced and would cost $3k-$4k to replace. To get a 2nd opinion I called Affordable Heating and Air Conditioning and with in minutes Gregg with his high tech equipment diagnosed the problem as a bad water heater and that there was nothing wrong with the flu pipe. Gregg and Russell swapped out the water heater that day and I was able to get the tenants back in that evening. Folks there's are a lot of shady unqualified contractors out there, Affordable Heating and Air Conditioning is not one of those. Their a small company that is extremely knowledgeable and will get it right the first time at a very fair price! Thanks guys! Ken Nelson

Without question, some of the best customer centric minded people out there. They had to juggle a lot with weather conditions and a timeline that I had to hit, and they were polite and genuine interested in finding a solution. Very friendly and very professional. These are the only folks I call. AND I found out they do home insulation services too!

Gregg showed superb professionalism and courtesy through the entire process. He thoroughly explained the issue and corrected it. All my experiences with Gregg and the company have been positive in every respect.

Sean was very thorough with cleaning my furnace. I was concerned about ash from fires in the mountains causing problems with our furnace. He also checked and cleaned the circuitry and blower. He found a capacitor that was out of range and replaced it. I can easily recommend Sean and Affordable Heating and Air.

I asked Affordable to provide an estimate to replace an existing 45k BTU gas heating unit in our barn feed room. Their estimate was $3280. Thinking that was pretty expensive I got another estimate from a reputable HVAC company. It was $1200. When asked why Affordable was so expensive their response was “0ther guys are more than we are”. ??? I am female, elderly, recently widowed, have a nice home, drive a nice car. You decide.

I had a new furnace and air conditioner installed by them. My house is far more comfortable than it was before and they did a very nice installation. I recommend them for HVAC work.

Their service was fast, diagnosed our problem quickly and returned promptly with the part. Cost was reasonable. Best of all, they came out to the country, when others wouldn't.
